Load up the card you like and see how people did it. Also, follow the newbie 1:1:1 guideline. The eyes should have about 1 width of an eye apart. The distance between the mouth and nose should be about the height of an eye. And the width of the mouth should be around the width of an eye. And you should have at least a pretty decent looking face.

The guideline is for absolute newbies only. but works well enough. Though you'll end up geting a lot of sameface this way. Once you're comfortable with it, you can then branch out.
