I remember playing really shit cards but getting in to a bet about winning a duel with some other guy. Then my friend made me this really good (well sort of) deck with exodia in it. Targets also means your opponent can respond effectively to your effect activation. For example, by chains floating effect, use that monster as effect, etc.
