We built some retail sniffers and Daribon has been poking around on the retail PTR (just about nobody is hanging around Outland/Northrend there, so no interference), and sniffing every waypoint, every spell, every speech entry, every bit of gossip text, every sound effect, etc. We built another parser that loads that sniffed data directly into our database, so with an absolute minimum of effort, we can just correctly update the mob stats to the correct levels and have a flawless TBC/WotLK/etc. experience with exact retail behavior for all quests, world events, right down to the random grumblings of guards as they patrol.

1) know how to use your defense cooldowns offensively and your offensive cooldowns defensively
2) you have to know exactly when to blow your defensive cooldowns and the only way to know that is to have a supreme understanding of other classes

I tried tanking deadmines at level 18, I had trouble keeping aggro on all the little miners running about so I tried to keep mostly the big humans aggroed on me 90% successfully, I'd like to know is that me being shit or limitations of bear mode at my level. We didn't finish the whole dungeon, one of our dps kept pulling gilnid and instakilling our healer so then two dps instaleft after the second wipe and then we gave up.
