Ruby/Sapphire were the first Pokemon games to have a "big" story and directly involve some legendary Pokemon and make them important to the plot (you could say Crystal was the first but honestly, Suicune gets mentioned once or twice by some guy and then you go and catch it. It's really not important to the story.) and Gamefreak had no idea what they were doing. Emerald had the same story with some extra details and locations thrown in.

How practical are each Pokemon considering the Cuck % on their movesets and the cost of evolving them? Yeah getting Twisterdos and Bitedozer Arcanine suck but compare that too 1/6 chance of getting a good Poliwrath moveset for 125 candy. How about Nidoqueen where the worst moveset you get involves moves that other Pokemon would kill to have and working no matter what gets rolled? How about how easy it is now to splurge out Raichu compared to Electabuzz or even Jolteon because you can just walk a few days? What are the most full proof investments of pokeballs?

Report their usernames to Niantic and then post them here. There was a small group of Instinct people that I knew for sure was cheating. I reported them all twice using different email addresses and nothing happened. Then I posted them here and asked for some help and suddenly they were gone from the gyms the next day. They haven't been back since.

It seems like people get banned only after getting reported by a lot of people. I live in a rural town with a lot of younger players who probably don't know how to report people, so I'm guessing I was the only one reporting these people.

I need help, /pgg/. The default blue marker is ugly and I can't figure out what Pokemon-related image to replace it with to signify that it's a Pokemon spawn point. Pokeballs are out of the question since they'd look too similar to the gym icons and I don't want to mark spawn points with individual Pokemon sprites since spawns keep rotating and spawn points spawn more than one species and Google Maps won't let me copy+paste points so I have to manually make a new marker for every species that I've seen spawn at that point and that's retarded.

Any ideas on potential icons?

Stayed in to catch up on my massive screenshot archive to catalogue all the spawn points I've seen in the past month. Took me like 12 hours to go through it all because I keep having to reverse-engineer past-me's camera spinning. I can basically see random chunks of the map without labels and tell you where it's from at this point. About three hours ago I bought some lures and decided that using them in the park over the road might be nice for a change of scenery, so I walked over there and sat down at a bench. At the next one over, there was a group of teenagers drinking and smoking and having a quiet chat.

From what I could tell, Ingress was pretty big in Burgerland.

The first few months of Ingress' release was basically the same as PoGo with reports of trespassing, flash mobs, and eventually, angry faction wars that spilled into real life to the point where Ingress nerds were stalking and harassing people online and in real life because somebody hit their portals or something. The lack of stops and shit usually happen because the Ingress nerds in the area gave it a shot for a few days and then quit. There are people who live in bumfuck nowhere on a farm, got a bunch of their buildings and shit (like the mailbox) on the property approved as portals and whatever and now basically get to spin Pokestops at home all day.

It really depends on who was playing Ingress in its heyday and how much dedication/autism they had.

I run it on a CM based custom rom. What I did was update my TWRP recovery, remove system/bin/su, system/xbin/su and a folder called superuser. Then I flashed magisk and phh's root while I was still in recovery.
After booting I installed phh's su manager and magisk manager and it worked.

Mystic have always been the majority. In my area they seem to be the only people who bother to train gyms as well. I outlevel everyone else nearby so killing a level 7+ gym alone doesn't take much time, but usually when I drop my heavies in gyms afterwards they either never get backed up at all or people chuck in a couple of shitmon and it stays at level 3 until someone else walks past and takes it back again.

99% of the time after getting my own 'mon into a gym, I'll level it up to a little bit under the next level rather than leaving a free slot. Worst case scenario, the other teams have to go through more to take the gym down, and ideally you get somebody competent enough who's able to train against the gym and is high enough level to put something of value in the gym. I just try to hold the two gyms closest to where I live
they're both out of the way for anyone that doesnt actually live nearby, most of the time when other people take them they're spoofers, but some legit people contest them occasionally

its 10:45pm right now and the gym being contested requires you to stand against a fence under a tree on the unlit side of the street in order to reach it, so I have a strong feeling whoever is fighting it is spoofing right now

Retarded question but I am a phone n00b: does PoGo care about the location the OS has or is it only reading the GPS signals? Bought a new phone but realised that the new OS doesn't have my actual location and language as an option (it's a Xaomi/MIUI) so I'd just choose India or something but I don't know if this safe. It probably is but just to be sure.

Yea all 3 stay up until 2-3am, I have 5 closing shifts a week so I can spend around 1 or 2 hrs after midnight a day sitting at the tri lure, but that's the only time I have to play these days. It really makes me miss those summer days of being a neet and playing for hours uninterrupted, seeing players glued their phones everywhere I went.

Also you're right on the addiction thing, it took me 2 weeks to stop constantly thinking about playing this game, and that was because I had my league relapse to keep me busy, but ever since my ping went to 150+ I got back into the pogo grind like when the game first came out.

I was upset that I couldn't play at the lures for couple hours after work because I had to pick up my gf, and now though of pogo are keeping me awake, I seriously need help, I can't beat this addiction I just go from one vidya to another and I need to not fucking do that anymore

I want to re-learn Japanese since I'm planning a vacation/family visit there near the end of 2017. But I wasn't able to become fluent after 8 years of lessons and Ive barely spoken or thought about it in years, so I don't feel confident there's even a point in trying or that it will help take my mind off of pogo
