Pole of Agony is decent in terms of damage... But you know... It's got a 2 minute cooldown. And it's still over a period of 12 seconds.

Some classes might technically be able to do like 100k damage in a single ability use. But it's never just 100k damage in one hit. It's always going to be over a period of time, and more than likely the ability has a shitty cooldown too.

Doing 100k damage over 12 seconds with a 2 minute cooldown vs enemies that have 500k hp and can kill you in 5 seconds really isn't impressive.

When you put it that way it sounds r8 will really be bad for pve wizards. I don't really play wizard, but at least it seems like you guys can stack a ton of magic circles to kill mobs, unlike the physical classes that are usually animation locked on their skills. Cooldowns are a problem though

Enemies after level 290-300 start getting to retard levels.250k to 500k hp, you need anywhere from 1500 to 2000 defence to survive against them. God help you when you run into a mage mob.

It's not impossible to solo at this level, but if your build is less than viable you're going to struggle really fucking badly. It's clear they want people to form parties to do shit past level 300.

It largely depends on your build though. If you're not a very good build some quests just aren't going to be possible for you to do.

You wont be surviving that quest with 8 mage mobs who get dropped on you that can all do 10k damage with unavoidable attacks unless you're got some seriously good CC and kiting abilities.
