I usually use my S+1, Crit Draw, Focus. Punish Draw set.
After the, for example, Zinogre goes KO, I sheathe my weapon, to get the Crit Draw Boost for the next Full-Charge, use Lions Maw III to get the boost and sheath my weapon and do a Lions Maw powered Unsheath Charge to deal more damage and build up KO damage for the next KO, while the Zinogre recovers from the knock out.

Seems to have worked a lot better for me.
If he wants to do the tail slam after an attack you're still kinda fucked (thanks medium RF recoil!) but you have a lot more openings.
Managed to get through with nothing more than my internal elemental ammo, hence TrueShot Up and Water Atk +2 and no Attack Up at all. The other skills were just what I could squeeze in.
Eventually I'll stop being lazy and make a better suit.

You start with Gen so you can decide whether or not you have to commitment to stick with the game. Gen's commitment is shorter than 4U's. Both of the games have artificial longevity in the form of grinding quests but 4U's wield better rewards because relic weapons/armor.

If you can't stick around to continue Gen even with the bullshit it hands to you, there's a good chance you will dislike 4U.
