Axe is fun! I run axe/dagger with superior sigil of rage on my axe and superior sigil of strength on my dagger. Mainly just because I enjoy the weapons, how they look, and the skills. However axe 2 is enjoyable in wvw when bursting down dickass thieves.
When I'm adventuring I use staff and greatsword. My staff has superior sigil of speed which means I have constant swiftness which is really nice, it's a good adventuring staff c:

Any bind tips? I played on default settings for a while and these are binds I just made so far but idk where to put 6-0 and F1-F5 feels equally awkward. 6 and 7 feels ok for my long skeletor fingers but I press wrong buttons all the time when I try use 8-0 skills

I've got a wacko set-up, but it works. The key is just finding the open binds to keep most things within reach of your left hand and then just training your brain until the delay is gone.
F3 is shift+E
F4 is C
Heal is Shift+M5
Dodge on middle mouse button
There are probably far better options, but it works for me alright. Also listen to >>155176514 and abuse the "shfit+key" function to really maximize your bind capacity.

This desus. Ruseman was probably the most involved guild leader I've ever seen in any MMO guild I've been a part of. He went out of his way to help other people in the guild learn the game... and really his little shitpost spat that got reposted ITT was basically because he was a bit too obsessed about the guild, and stupidly thought he could defend the guild with some sort of counter attack shitposting or something.
Not just him, but a lot of the HOPE officers were pretty good back then as well, and yeah guild missions generally had good turnouts and it was even kind of fun even though gmissions had barely any content and it was just repeating the same thing every week.

It's in a bit of purgatory right now and the only thing keeping it alive is the discord since we've formed a decent community there.
The main issue is that there aren't enough new members that take a keen interest in the guild and make an effort to be a part of that community.
The autistic, loud, shitposting side of HOPE is (mostly) gone and a socially awkward, silent HOPE has settled in.
Perhaps another expansion will revitalise it for a bit.

A corrupt governing council, shady criminal mega-krewes that that contract their wage slaves for life, the average Johh living life out of (what I assume are) cramped coffin apartments inside a megaplex cube. They're also far more cyber than charr could hope to be. The Asura are almost there, but are far enough off for it to not really work. Shit isn't bad enough in Rata Sum, nor are there a lack of options. One of the reasons Cyberpunk is so dystopian is because of the nature of (Our world but in the future) means there's nowhere that isn't civilized. No where you're free.
Meanwhile in Tyria there's no end of places an Asura and his Krewe can go fuck off to and escape any tyranny in RS.

There's some doors to the dormitories in Rata Sum, but you can't get inside unfortunately. I think that's how they live - or at least College Asura do.
There's examples of Charr housing all over though. The Citadel itself features the Gladium canton (which is filled with charr, humans and sylvari all bumming around on bunks and shit, with impromptu gardens and rain-water collectors) and Hero's Forum, the big barracks in the home instance. There's bunches of houses scattered across Ascalon zones too, though only a few can be entered.

CC and condition damage beats Endure Pain.
Raw damage mitigates the CC resistance of Engineers, as their heals are somewhat subpar.
Glint's baseline heal is EXTREMELY small (1800) as well as its Healing Power multiplier for a healing skill, so it relies on you doing damage to the revenant to make it worthwhile. Seems to be more intended as a counter to being grouped up on, or for people that like using Power builds (AKA a lot of people). I dunno if there's an indicator for it, but barring that, that's how you can counter it.. Recognize it and hold off for 3 seconds. It's basically Endure Pain on a shorter cooldown that takes up the heal slot, then.

This information is only worthwhile if you can strip the gyro stability. Stab on dodge is predictable but not something a player can manually counter. It comes down to rock paper scissors again or just passively waiting it out.
Rev still has hibernation heal which casts nearly instantly, passive pulsing boons, and a block on a super short cooldown because it's balanced by an mana resource which isn't really balanced at all.
Having to spend a hard counter on someone's passive isn't engaging combat, it's rote and frustrating. Sometimes a build doesn't have a weak cc to just throw away unless the player is specifically gearing toward cc spam which is often the case with a lot of passives. It's not a good situation either way.

Ranger (druid) and Elementalist (tempest) are healers in raids and high-end fractal dungeons. Ele is also high DPS. Most other classes are second bananas but bring some kind of gimmick buff along with them. ERP is alright. Nothing to really write home about in most cases. Same for regular RP. Honestly, a lot of the good stuff happens out of game.
