I cannot for the fucking life of me understand why the fuck they made Eichenwalde have that overhead chokepoint.

That shit is literally impossible to fucking penetrate if the enemy team has a Dva and Reinhardt with a Torb behind them. Like you could literally get the best fucking comp in the world and you'd still be at an incredible disadvantage just because the only fucking way to get behind their lines and deal damage to the Torb and whoever the fuck else is picking your team off (which is most likely Mcree) is if the defense makes a huge fuck up and i'm talking about, both tanks going off solo and dying kind of fuck up.


And that's not even going into the fact that getting to the third point is literally just a matter of who has more health on which team.

95% solo queue. Only stacks are with friends from university with around 2k ranking (Which cost me points, and now due to the difference, I can no longer do)

I think the calibration system still needs work. Both seasons now I've naturally drifted to a much higher rank than I calibrated at. Probably has something to do with playing calibration matches with friends

3:3 and 4:2 (tank:support ratio) compositions are currently "in", although you need to have good co-ordination to make them work.

Every support is currently viable. Every tank other than D.va is currently viable, with the Zarya/Winston dive combo being especially good. Mei is back, Hanzo is somewhat back, the other defense heroes are shit. Soldier was changed, but is still shit. Genji was nerfed, but is still good. McCree is still the king, Reaper and Tracer are good on KOTH.

Looks pretty decent. It's all tiered about the same, albeit a bit lowly though that's normal for the budget.
For the monitor you should check what the input delay is (not the response time). In depth reviews should have measurements of those. Also, high refresh rate if possible. And maybe g-sync considering you have nvidia, though that generally adds a premium. Or you could go the route of IPS and higher resolution, though for Overwatch specifically it's better to have a faster monitor really.
You could possibly remove the HDD, they're easy to add later, and with 240GB you should be able to install Windows and a couple of games.

I would blame it on us getting paired with other groups, but that happens anyways if you solo queue, only your team's group is someone else. Is it possible he's getting medals, but not really fulfilling the role of a tank? We often win if he's forced into offense.

Well /owg/ its happened. For the last few days I've gotten up to 50 points under 3k, and now I'm down to almost 2800.

The teams I get. Its just crazy. The amount of times I've heard "I'm not switching to a healer or a tank because I don't want to follow the Meta!" is so enraging. There have been games where I've had like, tracer, genji, hanzo and a fucking mcree and they're still bitching about how they don't want to "follow the meta with 2 healers and 2 tanks".

There was one game where I, as a Mei, shot a Pharah out of the sky more times than our mcree did and he still bitched at me to switch to a healer because he was dying too much to a roadhog.
