I think it depends on follower count. 0-10,000 = wait 5 mins, 10,001-100,000 = 10 mins, 100,001+ = wait 15 mins.

Just start a schedule, dude. Say you stream everyday at 4pm, the regulars will know to be there for 4pm. If you start the stream at 3:55pm and have a countdown for 5 minutes with some light music, people won't miss anything and they can "prepare" in a way.

I've found that people don't necessarily watch incase you PB, but rather because you PB'd. That Torje kid that has been battling with Skater for the WR in OoT recently? Only started watching him because he got WR. A lot of other people share this mentality. Just make sure you save the VoD and upload to YouTube and subforums, etc.
