Amarant is tanky and has a good combo with draw attack/counter. Raise can always be useful.

Celes is good, not a wallbreaker, but Focus is nice to have especially since you have Kefka and works in tandem with Lenna's cheer.

Yeah, that's probably a good idea. I've been keeping Cecil around to slowly work on his TM and throw out the occasional bar* spell, but there's no need for a dedicated tank yet. There will be in the future, but given that you'll get a guaranteed full breaker and you already have Cecil, you probably don't NEED WoL unless his offensive tanking style is really that much more appealing to you.

Fencer is actually my best physical attacker right now. 346 attacks, plus AoE, plus stat breakers stronger than armor/power break. She's actually pretty damn beastly. Swallowtail can 1-hit mobs in Dwarf's Forge. Also, I'd have no one to really put enhancer to good use.

She is amazing, with just enhancer, 2 hero rings, tiger mask, black belt and level 40 ifrit she has 360 atk, with a 10% passive 372.

She is only worst compared to other phys attackers because she lacks barrage, but her higher atk usually compensates. If you can farm Lunas for barrage she is the best.

The best phys ability for now and can make some units like Firion and Leo quite good damage dealers, lose some value later because it is quite bad for chaining.

If you grind 24/7 and get at least 5% a day it should take you 4~5 days as you need 21.2~21.3% with each unit

Hi. I haven't played a FF since X, nearly a decade ago. But XV, so far, looks incredible.

From what I've heard, XV has some thematic connections to the XIII series. Should I play these first? Or are the connections common elements that appear through most FF games, like Chocobos, magic crystals and the like and XIII can be safely ignored?

The developer stated that there will be some common mythology elements, but it's a brand new world and most concepts and characters will not be transferring across in any form.

Also, so few people actually played the entire XIII series that it would be kind of absurd to base any new title on knowing stuff from, say, Lightning Returns.

History of Gilgamesh:

He Was the Number One to Exdeath in FFV, but blunders caused him to be discarded into the Void.

We see him next in FFVIII, after Odin is slained by Seifer, the Void rift opens up and Gilgamesh claims Zentesuken, confused by the new world, but wipes out Seifer and hangs out with Squall and gang

He eventually returns to the rift and appears in FFIX, having stayed there for a while and getting a name for himself before returning to the void.

Makes appearences through tiem and space in remakes of FFI along with Exdeaths own Psuedo Four Fiends group, and VI remakes, and even in the IV sequel.

His next big stop is Ivalice in XII where eh hunts legendary weapons, and fights the heroes over a legendary sword twice as a super boss. and sticks around for the sequel too.

in XIII-2 he is summoned,a s dlc, in the Colosseum as a super boss. not much there.

I'd prioritze the screamroots, because they are an absolute bitch to get. You got a 20% chance I think of getting a fine alcryst when making abilities, so just make a fuckload of poisonas or some other cheap ability that doesn't take forever and you'll be getting them pretty fast.

Full Break is useful at R1 against bosses, but you'll have to budget it so it makes your supporter damage stink most of the time.

Grinding the dailies helps over time, but you are looking at a really long time before you could build up enough orbs even using exchange. Most of mine came from event dungeons. Looking at the Gold Fes event, I think that it comes with an orb dungeon, so that might help you along.

As a rule, almost all FF sequels are terrible and two thirds of the trilogy were, by definition, sequels.

The After Years is sort of the only exception in FF in general, and even then there's a lot of 'Deal with problem you dealt with before, only now it's recoloured!'.

I guess so. For whatever reason up until recently, SNES and GBA were tricky for me to emulate. I played FF1, 2 and 4 on PSP, 3 on DS, V on a glitchy GBA emulator on PSP (I'll be replaying that one after VI), and everything else on their original console as they came out.

How is it good? The combat is boring as shit on single player and you're a very good goy if you actually managed to play it multiplayer.
It had potential and some of the things in it were neat, but it just sucked to play. It was a struggle for me to finish it.

slow bounces off reflected member, hits keeper, inflicts slow. Sanctuary Keeper casts haste on self, reflects off onto party member.
You can poison him in the same way for decent damage.
