I don't know how they detect them but I've never heard of anyone I know being noted about their model edits after vanilla. I've used body mods for ages ever since I stopped caring so much about my account towards the end of TBC and nothing has ever happened. Not a warning, not a temp ban, not a message. Nothing. I'm using mods right now too, with the custom exe that bypasses the launcher no less. They honestly don't give a single shit.

Besides, they wouldn't outright BAN you for it. Back in vanilla some friend of mine did rather basic model edits as far as I'm aware, just changing his night elf to undead, and he was sent MAIL by a GM asking him to stop because it's against the rules. He didn't because he was tired of the game, and yet nothing happened afaik. In this light, if you're just using body mods or whatever, chances are they'd still warn you first and ask you stop even if they did somehow end up caring.

Can someone help me?
I don't like these new icons that I'm seeing on some player frames.

The left is the one we're all used to, the right is new. I don't know for sure what it is but I'm fairly certain this has something to do with that new prestige nonsense they've added.

Historically different icons meant significantly different things. Example, faction icon meant Faction Flagged PvP, and the grey sword icon meant FFA PvP. At a glance you could tell what was what. Now with these prestige kids running around there is an unnecessary variety in icons and I find it distracting.

As far as I know prestige isn't even a measure of player skill at all, just time spent grinding, so it's really irrelevant. I don't want my UI changed based on this crap. If I /inspect someone, then I guess I'd like to know if they've done that prestige stuff but at all other times I don't care at all.

How do I go about turning this autistic snowflake shit off? Do I need an addon or is there an in-game option for it?
