I think the sprint animation is basic and clunky as soon as it goes outside a very small range, and if we only had double jumps and rolls with sprinting we would lose a huge degree of potential vertical mobility and that 50-75% figure for sprint increase would nowhere near make up for the horizontal traversal speed lost
