Am I the only one who thinks the game in general just has way too much removal, especially where Warriors and Hunters are concerned? It takes 7+ mana to play that big game finisher, but it only takes 4 or less mana for the other guy to take it off the board next turn, using a card that he's had since the beginning of the game. It makes death rattles, battle cries, and end-of-turn effects the only viable effects for the more costly minions.

Yes. Most classes have pretty shitty removal, with Warrior being the only exception.

What you have to remember about removal though is that it is purely reactive and doesn't win the game itself (look at Priest as an example; all mediocre removal, no ways to win the game)
I do have to agree removal is kind of keeping cool on-board effects from being viable (Auras and whenever 'x' happens minions)

yes, the game have a ton of removal but most of them are garbage, sadly some classes lack the aoe removal, specifically druid followed by rogue after they gutted blade furry, and lose the game due to not having a comeback mechanic

Thing is, lets look at the math here

Usually chances are most legendaries have better stats than 2/2 so you can easily kill those coldlight oracles if they decide to go face.

Meanwhile, with my deck that has astral communion, most of the time I will get turn 1 or 2 astral communion so I can play any Legendaries I topdeck

Anyway, for any Mill Druid deck, they can only have 10 naturalize and 10 coldlight oracle. That would cause you to draw 40 cards in total while on the other hand, they themselves only have 30 cards and coldlight oracle will draw 20 of it.

And since coldlight oracle will draw cards out of your 60 card deck, that means you are guaranteed to have legendaries out to deal with the coldlight oracles, even if he mills some of them

So yes, Mill Druid does get countered since essentially he'll fatigue himself faster than he could fatigue and mill you

spellbreakers and silvermoon guardians are weaker than yetis
ice block is pointless in that deck
and you should add more early game like mana wyrms or sorcerer's apprentices or another faerie dragon

here's a deck trump took to legend a long time ago, back in classic
no chance in hell you can do that anymore with that deck but it's a solid enough baseline to look at

I went ahead and swapped noz with a boulderfist, the silvermoon guardians with yetis, and the iceblock with a loot hoarder. I'd craft a second faerie dragon, but I don't want to dust anything for something that I'm probably getting in my next pack anyway.
Are spellbreakers really that weak? They've won me a few games, but I could replace them with Azure dragons, once I get some.

If you play standard you may be better off holding off on crafting any legendary right now, legends like deathwing that are T1 right now might not be in a few months. Black knight could easily be good in the future, all that needs to happen is for control to be good again.

ice lances are inferior to arcane blasts but they're epic so I see how you wouldn't have them

frost novas are kind of unorthodox but maybe not terrible if you're running ice lances

if you have antonidas you should consider him because he's so good with frost novas

also I would consider dropping the ice block since it isn't that good a card in these aggressive decks

I actually made a decent climb on the ladder with that list. Early game is always rough but if you can make it to late game you can almost always win. Circle of healing is great because it combos with Auchenai as a board clear or Blademaster as a 4/7. Also potential for big value plays like t8 Rag, if it gets killed you can t9 Res x2 and Onyx Bishop for maximum memes.

If you're running midrange, you definitely want double hex. I've never liked Bloodlust since you can build a big enough board for lethal without it and it's terrible if you couldn't establish a board or you keep getting wiped. If you really want Faceless, I'd just copy the last list and swap memester of evolution and 1x Fire Elemental for it and Al'Akir for Doomhammer. Personally I'd probably swap something for the second Trogg too.

There is a point if you want to look baller and have a +90% collection anyways. You're often more likely to unpack 10 regular legendaries than you are to unpack 1 golden.
