So what's the point and enjoyment of playing tank in Legion? Tanking job got dumbed town to 'boost' tank numbers, mechanics bastardized, their dps will be even more nerfed in upcoming hotfix. All there will be left to do in raids when a timer tells you to taunt and that's it. At least they could have brought back threat management, because tanking was never this easy and boring.

I have to admit at first I wasn't sold on pirate rogues, and I'm still kinda iffy, but I gotta admit, when they're fun they're REALLY GODDAMN FUN

The grappling hook is a godsend, and the detect treasure skill is amazing even if people often overlook it, plus those swishing cutlass sounds are awesome

I wish the other specs got some more flavor though, things like climbing walls for sub (like a ninja) or something that really sets assassination apart, like making it a ranged spec, differentiating marksmanship as a ranger type and assassination as a sniper type

Overall though I'm okay with how things have worked out and I hope this whole thing of making specs more distinct keeps going

As much haste as you can. There is no "cap"; Shadow Word: Pain, Vampiric Touch and Void Torrent damage literally scale with haste, so much that it almost doubles intellect in value when using Surrender to Madness.
I have 36% haste and 16% crit with 843 gear and I'm pulling 300k on dungeon bosses with Surrender to Madness.

Stat weight with Surrender to Madness is, if I remember correctly:

>Haste - 1.70
>Crit - 1.25
>Mastery - 1.05
>Versatility - irrelevant
Otherwise it's 1.20 for haste with the other level 100 talents.

Shadow actually performs well on trash when it's 1-4 mobs that won't die in less than 10 seconds. Yes, that is most trash if you don't suck at multidotting.
In bosses you're basically a DPS god.

It's to encourage people to queue for roles that are needed, since everyone is DPS it's always the other two who can get it instead.

There have been times where DPS got CtA bags though, it happened a few times at the end of WoD since no one was doing the dungeons.

For sure, FFXIV is definitely the best looking MMO out there, maybe tied with BDO, but they look good in different ways.

Wildstar has some real hardcore endgame PvE, that's definitely what sets it aside from other MMOs right now.
The combat is a bit stiff and that's half the reason, but the encounters are really unforgiving and super satisfying to conquer.
Though I havent played in a long time.

WoW doesn't have much anymore, but one thing that I'll give it is that it pumps out WAY more content than any other MMO right now. It honestly blows the competition out of the market in that sense, which justifies the sub sometimes.

Oh yeah, it's a piece of trash for sure. I couldn't even get past level 30-40 because korean MMOs trigger me nowadays, and it's VERY korean, right down to paying real money to respec.
But it looks really good if you ignore the asset pop and occasional broken piece of physics, and that was my point.

I don't know the state of w* right now, but endgame PvE was pretty cutthroat last time I played it. Maybe they fixed it, which would be a shame.

You can start legion at 98, and spires map has that +20%exp garrison building.

I just did like the entire first map, and enough of the second map to get to 96, switched to spires and hit 98 easily.

No herilooms, they're kind of a waste specially the weapon one that costs 5k for the 90-100 boost. I mean if you have like 300k or more sure go and buy the 5k heirloom, it might save you like 20 minutes of WoD leveling before you get your artifact.
