In cases like Reinhardt/ Zarya/ Lucio, where they're picked always and forever, I don't think the problem should be solved by nerfing them per se. It's just that they fill a niche that no other hero really fills. If you nerf Reinhardt, there's still no alternative; everyone will still pick him, and it won't be until he's nerfed into uselessness that people would stop.

Ideally, we'd get new heroes that share a similar but not identical space/ utility.

Instead we have a defense hero that acts more like an off-tank, a tank that acts more like a DPS, and a support that acts more like defense.

Instead we're getting a stealth character, and new characters only come out every 3-4 months.

I am struggling with figuring out what I'm doing wrong ever time I play this game. I lose so frequently, my MMR is 2200, and I'm apparently dogshit. But I feel like I'm doing stuff properly, I sit on the payload, I usually have 2-3 gold medals, and I don't rage at my team or anything. I'm almost always support or tank because everyone else likes to pick Genji and fly around the map.

Does anybody know why there are a lot more widow players now? I'm playing on EU and ever since the last big patch hit, I started seeing widowmaker almost every fucking game.

It's only quickplay so I can understand if they wanna try her and get better with her, but it just seems weird that they started appearing after the patch. Obviously, they are usually a hindrance and shit, just like me with widow

Here's my stats, sorry I stopped replying last night, it was like 6AM here and I had Uni in the afternoon lel

Uh, for Cart defense you need to stick by your team at a kind of chokepointy area, such as the corners of Kings Row, Route 66, Dorado, etc
Like I say, use cover from both the map and the cart itself, and try and get your teammates to group up around you, much like a chokepoint on a CP map for example

As for KOTH, it's the one gamemode I don't lock her in on
I feel with KOTH you need the perfect team composition which pubbies often fuck up, so I tend to go characters that people miss out since usually Zarya is picked on KOTH
If Zarya isn't picked, I'll go her, but I usually go Junkrat on Ilios/Nepal because he's kinda overlooked and works really well on console KOTH because of the mayhem and lack of need to aim lel
As for Lijang, I usually go Lucio because I'm not too great at that map anyway, also I love getting the boops

But if I do go Zarya, like I say I make sure to protect my teammates as a top priority, especially the squishies and healers, and I'm never over aggressive because it's best to stay alive rather than risking an unneeded death

Also as a general tip, try and focus on heroes that are harder to kill for others, like D.va and Genji since they can't block your beam
Especially D.va, because fuck are good D.va's scary
