You don't have to, but some things could help.

If you're on N3DS, the clock option near the top would be a good thing to change. Clock+L2 will give you the best increased performance with O3DS games.
Showing your current NAND in System Settings would be useful if you use emuNAND at all.
And showing the GBA boot screen in patched AGB_FIRM will make the BIOS screen play on GBA VC injects.

They're both literally the same past some games that play a bit dodgy on the TV version. HBLauncher_Loader is working on 11.1 now, since the payload for loading the homebrew launcher has been released.

All HBLauncher_Loader does is look at your 3DS firmware, region and type, check online for the matching ropbin payload and download it.

You've forgotten to eject the SD card before turning the 3DS system back on.

Eject SD card, switch on system, insert SD card, proceed to install A9LH by visiting the installation page with the 3DS browser.

How do you extract previously installed .cia installed games from a 3DS?
