Support main here. You can usually tell pretty early on if your adc is going to play passive during lane phase. If so you do not go all in. You can stand in front of him, keep pressure in lane, and peel, but do not go all in if you know they won't follow up. If they're down for it, if they're comfortable with the role, if they know what they're doing, then sure. Go balls deep on their asses. But don't go all in all the time until you have a pretty good idea of what to expect.
