Rate my Nicepants AU idea

NC Bunny is a (very nice) hitman sent to kill someone currently staying in an MTT-chain hotel. Some bigwig with thugs on multiple floors for protection. NC gets in relatively easy, kills the guy and then has to fight his way out.
On some floor somewhat above the first, BPants gets caught hiding behind an overturned table in the middle of a gun battle between NC and the thugs. NC and BP meet when they use the same table as cover. After clearing that floor, NC decides BP's chances of making it out without getting killed are pretty much zero so he opts to mercy-kill BP.
BP is too pathetic in the moment to outright shoot so NC changes his mind and instead asks BP to help him get through the next floor. He figures BP is still going to die so asks BP to act as a distraction as he takes out the next set of guards. BP figures he has nothing to lose so he agrees so at least he'll die doing something cool.
BP runs into the next floor screaming/being distracting. He gets shot but not killed because despite no one knowing him, everyone knows OF him. (Mettaton's chewtoy)
Impressed by his luck, NC decides to take BP the rest of the way out. The nice thing to do is get BP medical attention afterall (tbc)
