Last thread someone mentioned it was somewhat heart-warming that Bonnie considered Mike family enough to suit him but I feel like he's going to be really rattled by this. Repost before bed.

Last thread someone mentioned being angry at me over the slowness with Le Cauchemar. Chapter 3 will come, but I have to take my time with that one, I want to make sure LC is as close to perfect as I can manage when I release it, it toes a delicate balance between sympathetic characters in a rocky situation (plus sexual tension) and becoming a rape party at any moment if not handled with tact. On the plus side a new character people have been asking about since the first chapter will be in chapter 3 so there is that to look forward to.

Taking a second job so I haven't had free time to write like I used to. I'm working on chapter 2 of Inside My Shoes bit by bit, night by night. It's outlined out across a few papers and I feel I've got something genuinely scary and a solid mystery going, it WILL be lengthy, matching the first chapter most likely at around 20 pages again. I'm 8 pages in so far. It IS coming. I may just need to step away from art a while to focus on writefagging exclusively, I'm aware my content has been lacking that 'oomf' lately.

The format of the games doesn't serve itself well to any kind of horror beyond those two. So likely no, because there isn't enough given to make the atmosphere what it could be. Or you're too busy doing other shit to actually be scared, and you're stressed because of the inevitable loud noise. Though the legitimacy of secondhand robot selling varies greatly from literal slavery to something akin to a dog shelter.
Unlike with human employees if a business purchases a PRC (Or any of her rivals) robot they have an legal obligation to keep it maintained and repaired usually at great cost. Of course, most businesses have robot insurance that covers this, but there are the occasional that skimp out and then are left with faulty or disenfranchised machines.
It's illegal to deactivate a fully sentient machine as it's tantamount to murder - many businesses that find themselves with a large number of no longer necessary machines (either through buying newer models or being unable to maintain current ones) can effectively free them of their service and they are no longer the responsibility of the parent company. But there is a lot of paper work and admin costs associated with this as you are essentially unleashing a new person into society who can go anywhere or do anything.
Businesses that hire a robot freed of his initial-service can largely ignore most of these laws and regulations (with the exception of deactivation) as they only apply to robots specially built or purchased for a client to fulfill a purpose. Many owners that find themselves unable to maintain or can be bothered to go through the red-tape and money to free their machine will just leave it somewhere to deteriorate and forget about it. Some forgotten machines are found by less scrupulous members of society and can have their memories wiped and be reprogrammed to be entirely obedient and sold to unsavory clients. The more fortunate ones are found by shelters and repaired and go through the process of becoming a free-machine, though some have deteriorated to such an extend they can no longer care for themselves and a loving family must be found for them.

I'm not sure I agree with this. Timothy's shown that he doesn't have the heart for rape and underestimates his willpower to abstain, Mr. Brown's too in control of his desires, Miss Yella is still trying to pluck up the courage to leave her room, and Red's a fuccboi that wants love and kisses. I could maybe see Indy getting rapey but I think her insecurity would keep her at bay as well as Timothy's unwillingness influencing the dream to make Indy not go through with it.

I could be wrong however and Tim could fall asleep every time ready to rape, or be raped by, his nightmares. I wouldn't enjoy the story as much if things went that way.

Not really. 2 overcomplicated the timeline for little to no reason, adding in over three new locations that were never even alluded to in the first game, along with ascribing a face and identity to the ominous serial killer (and a very goofy one at that), severely decreasing the actual scariness. 3 introduced Springtrap, a character so over-the-top and comical that any suspension of disbelief is completely shattered. Along with this, it also makes the bizarre and now infamous choice of painting the ghost kids as innocent angels who did nothing wrong and trying to imply that you should feel bad for them despite them being the principle enemies of the entire franchise. And everything after that, well, I think we all know about that. Scott is funny, he's a talented game dev, and he means well, but he is a truly terrible writer, so bad that even getting another writer to help him with the book only made things worse.

This transition makes me think of FNAF 4, its DLC, and finally FNAF World. When I think of FNAF World, I remember what Scott didn't add, putting his avatar in the roster instead of her. It's odd that after FNAF 2, Toy Bonnie, Toy Freddy, and Toy Chica were never spoken of again, and it was mentioned in the newspaper they were burned. It was assumed at the time this meant all the toys, Mangle, Puppet, and BB were also burned.

That said, lately I've been looking back. In FNAF3 it was odd that there were Phantoms for Mangle, the Puppet, and Balloon Boy. At first I assumed it was an easter egg just because the characters were well-received (or in BB's case, so disliked it became a running gag), but given that two of them received minigames, there was more to it.

Then in FNAF4, never minding that the PC's brother keeps Mangle in his room (nobody really talks much about this, that's the most confusing part of FNAF4 for me by far) but the DLC also only brings back Mangle, Balloon Boy, and the Puppet. Those three have come back in every single title after 2 in one form or another and I get the feeling there's a reason for it.

The only reason I can think of having Mangle in the Brother's room is an obvious one in retrospect, she's not at the Pizzeria or out-of-commission at the time of FNAF 4. This makes sense as she's always been a prime suspect for the bite, assuming it was the player's first time playing FNAF 4, showing Mangle is NOT involved so early on could be ruling her out as a suspect until you find out how the event went down. That's a good narrative reason for having her show up, but I'm still not sure what the logical reason is. It could be assumed the child's father works on the animatronics, or the toy line, but that's a large stretch.

And one last note, I just realized that Sister location isn't even out yet, and we already have a Puppet lookalike with Ennard, a 'Mangle' of a sorts with Funtime Foxy, AND there's a BB-lookalike in the office. The game isn't out, and there's already those three in the game in one form or another. At this point, all three of those characters have been in more games than Bonnie.

It also confuses me that Funtime Foxy is playable at all in FNAF World, especially with that name, assuming that SL was at least thought of before FNAF World released but maybe Scott was iffy on actually making it at the time. Either way, why include her? And why showcase SL through FNAF World with Update 2 of all places? Advertising? Doesn't make sense, FNAF World's reception was terrible. Add to that the hint for SL and that FNAF World ties extremely close to FNAF3 and just where does FNAF World stand? Those minigames in FNAF 3 cement FNAF World has some tie to the main series, as bizarre as that is to say.

Forget FNAF4, I still have questions about FNAF3 that bother me significantly more than that more than one kid could have gotten bit in a series of games about night guards getting bit by robots all the time.
