No. Just retards. The writing is decent, but nothing to write home about. The H is good, and the animation adds a whole extra level of eroticism, similar to memecats. It isn't plentiful, though - 3 scenes with 2 characters, both get a solo and a duo. It's also quite expensive, with the porn priced the same as the main game.

Overall, CoroBlo is a decent romp but nothing special. I'm not convinced the porn is worth $10 - you can get more on DLsite for that kind of money. Finished Kyonyuu Fantasy. It was enjoyable, nothing profound of course but it was pretty fun and that's more than I expect from a nukige.

The characters and setting were great. Even the male characters had a surprising amount of detail to them.

I'm honestly a bit sad that probably a bit over half the text was dedicated to porn, if only because there's a shortage of fantasy-esque titles in a period setting. I would've taken more plot than porn in this case.

I'm looking forward to Sona-Nyl. The art style looks unique and cool. SukiSuki is very easy on the eyes, but it's a shame the 1440p assets won't be seen outside of CG rips.
Also, any Innocent Grey title is easy on the eyes. And I appreciate Shigeo's art especially since it's one of the few that look good uncensored. Fata Morgana grew on me too, it's very portrait-esque and Castlevania-y.

Yeah, well, Sekai certainly aren't. They've been in the red every single year and that's with all of the Kickstarters that they shit out.

The profit margins are probably pretty slim. Smart dealings need to be made. You also have to realize how small the market is. Nekopara and other memeshit may bring in 6 figure sales, but that's entirely exclusive to those kinds of titles. You simply do not see those kind of numbers on other visual novels. Combine this with the fact that the Steam market seems by-and-large unwilling to pay for any visual novel that's more expensive than 10 dollars (as seen by all the bitchings on Steam), and you have a recipe for a headache. It's why everyone that's trying to get into the Western business is so eager to replicate the Nekopara model and success (and failing completely). MG seems to be doing well for themselves, but that's because they have a dedicated (and consistent) fanbase and they are picky about their licensing deals. JAST is perfectly fine because it's supported by the much larger infrastructure of J-list, but, as a result, visual novels isn't their priority and is more of a side-project for them, so they're very slow.

Basically what happened was that Effordom Soft, an Akabei sub-brand, released a game with an appallingly low number of CGs for full price (I think it was like 30). This was a problem because the only reason people were interested in it was because of Yuuki Hagure's art. Apparently the writing was hilariously bad too, and one of the heroines' routes was missing on release and had to be patched in later.

Predictably, it bombed to the extent of taking the brand down with it. Several Akabei staff members apologized over the whole mess on Nico and promised everyone who bought the game that they'd get a new game by the same artist for free.

Later, a disgruntled Akabei employee posted on 2ch ranting about the horrible development conditions at the company and revealed that the producer of Juukishi was none other than Looseboy (with business card photos to prove it). Looseboy is the writer of Sharin no Kuni and G-Senjou no Maou. Akabei had tried to shift the blame onto some other guy to protect Looseboy's name, since he's Akabei's only popular writer left. There was a lot of anger on 2ch over the whole thing, with calls to boycott Looseboy's games.
