I spam the shit out of my ult announce and use my mic.

I keep an eye on my team-mates' ult charges

I don't ult when it's 2v6 or anything retarded

I usually ult Rein/Genji/Reaper/76/McCree, people who can do good damage in a timely manner and can benefit greatly from the movement speed bonus. I'm not boosting D.vas or defense heroes.

Once in a great while I get a round where nobody on the team can get any kills whatsoever no matter how hard I try.

Thank god it's just quickplay, but I've watched people whiff their shots on sleeping tanks.

Just rush her, make her move, then reset back to your team and look for her again. You don't need to kill her, just make her life hell. D.va is mostly for pushing snipers off their perch, eating ults with defense matirx, and bombing the point/choke to get the other team off it. 90% of when people have problems with Roadhog's hook is when they are moving or using a movement ability and Roadhog hooks them. This happens because there is a slight delay between when he is hooking you and when he is actually pulling you, you feel like you weren't where the hook was.
