The support is fantastic but the problem is all these great cards support only mediocre boss monsters. Reactor dragon needs to SS ancient gear gadget first to get all his effects and even then he can't hit over most other boss monsters these days. How can AGs be a beatdown deck without a good beater? 3k was outclassed by BE already.

I use Planet Pathfinder to search Geartown. It actually works really good. Sure, it takes up your normal summon, but it tributes itself to search which allows you to play catapult. Also, it is a Rank 4 body for Utopia/Back the Cook plays.

Yes, Buddyfight trial decks are really good for beginners (when it comes to staple cards, they either give you 2 copies or 4, the maximum amount), at most you only need 2 trial decks to make a budget deck (just to get the 2-ofs), or you can also just try to find singles of the rest of the copies you need.

On the recent start decks, the Sun Dragon and Black Dragon are fine to just buy one copy and just supplement it with cheap rares and commons (but you may want to buy 2 copies of the Sun one to just get the 2-ofs that are in there)
The Star Dragon start deck isn't that great, there are better options for budget Star Dragon world, but it is a start, giving you a rough skeleton to work with.

Honestly all the trial decks are good starts for the world they're featuring. (except maybe the old Star Dragon world and Darkness Dragon world decks)

Nope, sorry. Been playing the deck since it was just sabre and wolf/tiger and learned the ins and outs from lots of experience. All I can say is to keep practicing and see how ham you can go. Oh, just noticed one thing though; Try adding Norden and an Instant Fusion or two since you can also use it to summon sheep to make summong Sabre easier. Probably take out the rank 3's for space and put in Abyss Dweller as well if you wish.

OCG's been doing stealthy 6 month formats lately, at best they're gonna semi limit Dragon Buster in January, considering it would've seen little playtime by October, before finally killing the deck by limiting both ABC and Hangar in April
