If you dont have the Fel Rush Talent you are wasting so much DPS. I use fel eruption and yet felrush still does so much damage. I mean its like 90% of a chaos strike but AOE, even more with momentum.

On single target, it's a DPS loss but not a lot if the fight is very short. Dungeon boss fights last a minute anyway. Momentum is really retardedly good. It's a ridiculous damage boost for AoE. So much so that it shits on Nemesis.

If you're adamant about not using any mobility spells you'll actually do fucking garbage damage because Fel Rush hits like a truck and Prepared is the only acceptable talent that entire tier.

You don't necessarily run out of things to do when you go hard in the paint on world quests, mythic locks, general quests, and professions. However once you start hitting those diminishing returns Blizz is known to put in so that casuls can catch up, it's kind of disheartening.
PVP is always there but it's in a weird place right now. PVE has a few interesting twists on things - especially if you can shitpost with a group or two.
If you cant >into the lore or find your own entertainment in a few niche aspects of the world + mechanics then there's not much else there regarding core gameplay.

They come up very often, it doesn't feel awkward at all. Vengeful Retreat is the worst part because it goes further than Fel Rush, and it's much floatier. If they change anything about momentum besides a flat damage nerf, it'll be with VR. Just try it out and you'll see how strong it is. Snapshotting already absurd bloodlet damage with it, your artifact ability, etc.. The difference between an ok DH and a good DH is pretty big in that regard.

God damn, my only concern is being mediocre at aoe and probably useless in pvp. But I honestly don't get why people say chicken spec is fun, it's not, it's a meh caster with an annoying resource mechanic and no mobility. if you have master of the glaive it can go up to 50-60k per tick. The dot last 10 seconds and ticks every 2 seconds.

If you have any sort of haste you can always keep the effect up on someone also. Bloodlet stacks the remaining damage from the previous dot to the refresh.

DH tanks can still be kited if they took the talent to lay sigils without aiming which places them at their feet and gets rid of any real range they have. They don't have the OP glaive throw like DPS spec does.

DPS DH has snares and stuns and mobility.

However. Remember this is the expansion of the demon hunter. It's not nearly as overtuned as Death Knight was during with Wrath such as being able to tank in dps spec because 100% damage heals, but it is damn close and don't expect much in the way of nerfs until next expansion much like DK wrath. Blizzard isn't going to gimp the hero class that took them since BC to release on the expansion of it's highlight.

Druid is the best looking in general opinion, because nature.

Demon Hunter is one of the coolest because legion focus point of the legion's prison world Mardum with DH taking over a flagship the Fel Hammer. It's entirely different setting from any other class hall which makes it the most unique. Though could have fooled anyone if you were to turn the DH class hall into a spec based class hall replace demons with skeletons and call it unholy DK. Those who have seen Archeus Unholy section know what I'm talking about.
