A lot of people want Samurai Shodown and others want MotW. Personally I never really cared much for MotW despite it being in the FF series. I looks pretty, but to me it doesn't feel like a FF. In an interview (I think it was with either Ryan Hart or it was posted on orochinagi) one of the devs mentioned that it would be cool if they could make a FF prequel, one that took place between AoF 3 possibly with Jeff. It could have a mix of the AoF and FF characters. We could see the older Kyokugens, possibly as secret bosses, apprentice Andy and Terry, etc. Either that or another Real Bout. Another World Heroes could be nice, or even a NGBC2.

I noticed from what I've seen in the US people are defensive against her, but the chinese seem to be on the offensive. From the bits and pieces I've seen that seems to work better. I think in time after they get stable. It is the only game I would want to remain in 2D. I think it would lose some of it's charm if it went with polygons like it did with that one 3D game they did. For it to be as charming with polygons as it did in 2D it would require some really, really, really, charming 3D animation. Yeah. She is strong, but people make it harder on themselves by overreacting to stuff. They see her slide, and they hyperhop to stuff it instead of blocking. They try to run underneath her Climax instead of just blocking the hits. They try to outjump the bird cling, even though she's right at the top of the screen. Even when I put myself in the shoes of someone who's never seen Nakoruru's moves before, some of the ways people react is silly.

I think it's just carryover from 13, which was pretty heavy on the jumps and rolls.

Not really. Something like the Metal Slug equivalent of Capcom's Mega Man Powered Up and Maverick Hunter X, more from the latter with the following:

1. Intro Stage where Marco and Tarma have to clear up Regular Army Headquarters, and as soon as they are done, General Morden announces his declaration of war on the entire world.

2. New characters, like a Dr. Light stand-in who's Marco and Tarma's commanding officer, and another Rebellion Army character whose the VAVA/Vile stand-in.

3. Stuff from 2 and later games brought:

a. Eri and Fio helping Marco and Tarma out as mission support, with Eri being whom you get your transmissions from if you're Marco, and Fio if you're playing as Tarma.

b. Enemies from later games like the Riflemen Rebels, Gatling Gun Rebels, and Sarubias.

4. Pre-boss fight dialogue.

5. More explanations on the lore, like how the Regular Army was formed to unite mankind due to proof aliens do exist, foreshadowing the Martians. And a foreshadowing to the Ptolemiac Army from 5 by hinting the Central Park bombing in the backstory, where Morden lost his eye and his son that led to him revolting due to bureaucracy and corruption in the Regular Army that led to said bombing, as their doing.
