Buzzkill works for Suspense since it basically *is* the suspense theme. Class Trial Solar Edition would fit Objection more than the current one which is suited more for closing arguments.

In my opinion (I'm just now jumping in on this conversation by the way) the pre-trial bantz felt all too unnatural and not exactly like Simon would really act, it was written very fan-casey to me.
I ended up making the case feel a lot more comfy, I feel due to taking it slow and coming back to that trial with a lot of breaks inbetween,
The only really hard part was the Resting, please do not disturb contradiction.
It was funny seeing Blackquill grab Athena and shake the shit out of her, because the player too gets frustrated at Athena's non-confidence
Also holy shit why does almost every witness need a transformation it kinda really devalues the rest of the transformational witnesses each time you put another one in there.
There was no validated reason for it to baby you this hard by Case 4, and in reality it just makes me feel cheated out of a case by having this not really challenging one.

Actually, that's not really true. It pushes back all of your buttons if the firstmode is greater than 10 (so, if firstmode = 13, the first three buttons are gone). And from what I've heard, the dropdown list bugs out after 21 emotes. I need to check that out myself, though.

While I didn't know about AAU being able to hide the evidence screen, what's the point in changing it in the first place? And it goes against your claim of "is actually better than the old one [in] many aspects", because the client has an even shittier skin than the normal client, barring the CSS screen. The buttons are subjective, so there's not much to argue there.

Here's a fun fact - art in GBA games were incredibly bright due to the GBA screen being a piece of shit. What it actually displays is at a much dimmer color than what the sprites have - because the artists realized that anything displayed on the GBA would be dimmer than what they had made.

The penalty bar is supposed to be green, but not the neon-shade of green in the new client. The blue made more sense in AO either way, but that's just my opinion.

The best way to get experience is to play. I'd suggest taking a support role, being Support Defense or Support Prosecution. You don't really have to say anything, just pay attention to the case and act as a co-counsel for your lead. Try to find important details, other contradictions your bench missed, or suggest questions during CC. [Type in brackets to whisper to your bench.]

Same as the games, burden of proof is on defense. Prosecution calls a detective which defense CE's. They give requests and call the detective again later to hear findings. Prosecution typically gets two other witnesses they call and basically the meat of the case is cross-examination and debates after an objection is made.

Server is still pretty empty but I'll likely start building one soon in a few hours when people start trickling in. The evidence is mostly prewritten during building (everyone 'boots) and witness testimonies are a mix of improv and prewritten. Everything else is improv.

Signup by typing /doc in OOC after you have an OOC name and are in a courtroom and write yourself in to sign up.

I just had an idea to help AA6 rippers.
Since the text box that blocks the bottom half of characters isn't there when you're selecting evidence to present or an option to talk, you can cleanly rip idle animations that occur at the end of a conversation. A couple of examples:
Albhi looks sad and has his dog lick at him when you present him with irrelevant evidence in the bazaar in 6-3
also, Rayfa looks smug when you ask her "What to do?" when you're supposed to first go to the bazaar in 6-3. Note: Go somewhere other than the detention center to ask this, otherwise the bottom of her model gets cut off

When I get the time to, I'll start a list on every possible opportunity to ask questions/present evidence, and what animations you can rip from them.

Which is fine if the animation is completely stationary underneath the textbox, since you can just copy that frame over for the entire emote but they've been adding a lot of dynamic talk and idle animations which means having to open and close the log 10 times per animation

I suppose I did attempt ripping Scuttlebutt waaay back when right after doing rpbin.

But looking at my work back then right after robin I was doing it a very shitty way. You see how robin was. I was ripping from the wiki gifs.
Eventually I got some more experience (Orla, Aura, Jinxie) and I've only now just started working on her again. It's only been like 3 weeks since I started working on her.

I'm only doing her during my free time between class and work. And even then I'm not always fucking taking the free time I get to rip of all things.

She's just about done. Got like 4 more preanims to do (Which consist of two fucking bench emotes, an emote I'm missing a slice of footage for, and then her breakdown), and then all these idles which take no time at all.
