When author adds AUs for no reason. If everything happens in AU, then i'm fine. Adding one AU is fine too, but everything past that is...no.
When ships are included that don't make sense.
When Toriel and Asgore's conflict has either of them being right. It's not supposed to be that way. Neither is right or wrong.
When too many characters are barely used or aren't used at all (by that i mean they are here, but nothing is really done with them). Even worse when it's because fanfic is too focused on Sans.
When Toriel is used as Frisk's mother and/or Sans' wife (...really?) and nothing else. Another thing is when she suddenly isn't enough to protect someone even though she is a boss monster with same stats as Asgore.
When Sans is crying, has night terrors over shit he shouldn't even remember, somehow knows everything that happened between resets and even true resets. There's also things like suddenly being the most powerful thing alive. Oh, and then there's him suddenly caring about anything. Same guy did nothing but watch his brother die and decided to do something only after it's too late.
When Papyrus is childish and outright useless for anything that isn't hugging or he is suddenly Sans 2.0 with burning eye and everything.
When Undyne is all about anime. This is important part of her, but she's also is/was the captain of royal guard trained by Asgore.
When Alphys can barely talk, is too focused on anime and can't let go of her past.
When Mettaton is just legs. Original Mettaton? Fuck that, he never existed.
When Asgore is suddenly Satan not just in appearance or when he is a wimp. He is a survivor of the war and the king of monsters.
When Asriel is pure and innocent AFTER his death. Other things that bother me is when he is saved or he is somehow the victim of Chara's plan.
When Chara did nothing wrong, is literally Satan or not-Frisk. Also when they are responsible for Genocide runs and when Frisk (or Sans) defeats them and gets their soul back.

Not all ending need to be happy and perfect. A hint of sadness at the end makes the story feel more whole to me.
If I'm reading a fic about genocide, I like little touches in how Frisk acts that shows Chara slowly taking control.
I like Asgore being portrayed as a tragic character, even as he tries to act like he is happy.
A troubled Chara that still tries to be a decent person but fucks it up and inadvertently hurts people is leagues better than a demon or angel Chara.
Frisk should have a very limited, but implied personality.
Undyne needs to be constantly energetic, it's always fun when she is.
Papyrus must always be innocent.

When things are going well post TP. Not PERFECT though. Asgore still has to live knowing that he is responsible for death of 6 humans, Flowey should never be Asriel again, Chara should stay dead (doesn't matters if it's "DEAD" dead or "not alive, but still here" dead, but i guess it's better to have more characters?...idunno), Sans shouldn't forget that resets can happen even if Frisk promises to never do it, etc. Just good enough to live without being afraid of what happens on the next day...unless you're Sans because lol resets.

Well, I doubt it was an all out world war against the monsters back in the stone age. It was probably a regional tribe that only had that specific race that was fighting against the monsters, who only lived in that specific area. Thus, we only saw what a specific race of humans native to that region look like.
