Here's a guide on how to install VPK files on the vita. The chart is kinda shitty, I'll make a better one later. You can read the plain text version here: http://pastebin.com/6Nd6qY2L

The important stuff is

- You DON’T NEED TWICE THE SIZE OF THE GAME to install
- You can OPEN VPK FILES with WINRAR or similar
- You can make a bubble installer for games zipping eboot.bin and sce_sys folder and renaming to .VPK
- You can transfer .VPK games via QCMA which is faster than FTP

INSTALLING SKELETON .VPK VIA QCMA

- Take your game’s .vpk file and extract all the files using winrar or similar
- Take eboot.bin and sce_sys folder and put them inside a .zip file make sure it’s a .zip file
- Rename your zip file exactly to GAME.VPK make sure it’s in ALL CAPS
- Take the rest of the game’s .vpk content and put them inside a new folder, let’s call it the content folder
- Open QCMA on PC and check your PSP Savedata directory under Settings Applications/Backups
-Make a new folder inside your PSP Savedata folder on PC and transfer both your GAME.VPK and the content folder inside this new folder
- Go to QCMA under your taskbar and click on Refresh Database
- Now connect your Vita to your PC via USB and go into applications PSP savedata and transfer the new folder
- After transferring go into Molecule Shell and under ux0: pspemu/PSP/SAVEDATA/new folder/ you should find your GAME.VPK press x to install and delete the file after installing
- Now open the content folder and press square and select all files then press triangle and choose the move option
- Now go to ux0: app/ and you should find your newly created game’s folder inside, it should contain only eboot.bin and the sce_sys folder so you know which one you’re looking for
- Press triangle and choose copy to move all of the game’s content to that folder

I think it worked for me cause I'm not getting any type of errors rebooting it up. I just renamed the eboot.bin in the moe folder and replaced the eboot.bin in the root of the folder then deleted moe folder and all the _m files under sce_module.
I won't be able to test the dlc fully since I don't have a Singapore account.

QCMA has been giving me a bunch of problems and I'm convinced it's a buggy piece of shit. What happens is after I connect my Vita to my PC and transfer everything over, I then disconnect it. But then if I want to connect it again, it won't be detected and I have to restart my entire computer. Compounded to this is I have to physically turn off my computer because the QCMA becomes an unkillable process, even after you close it, it's still there in task manager.

Anyone else have this problem?

got gundam breaker 3 update working. downloaded the game and update from the guy on pspiso. extracted both on my pc (rename .vpk to .zip to extract). merge & overwrite the folders from the patch rar to the extracted .vpk. zip it back up, transfer it over, and install. info menu and title screen now say 1.12. no i dont know if this will work for DOAX3 since thats a mei dump which maybe works differently, try it for yourselves.

I named it eboot.bin. The one thats in the moe folder is called original_eboot.bin. This needs to be renamed and copy over to replace the eboot.bin thats in the root of the update folder. I'm really bad so I hope I explained it right. I can copy pasta the "guide" i've been using for this and other mai dlc/dumps.
"1. RENAME THE eboot_original.bin TO eboot.bin ON mai_moe FOLDER.
2. MOVE THAT FUCKING RENAMED eboot.bin AND REPLACE THE EXISTING ONE.
3. DELETE mai_moe FOLDER.
