Short answer - Druids don't have shield block for tanking, which is kinda a huge deal. Yes, bears can crest 10k AC with simple lvl 60 dungeon running and quest rewards, and have a lot of health, but the returns on high AC diminish the higher you go (after certain points in relation to different bosses) and shield block's value sharply increases.

As far as healing goes, they do a super job but if you are horde, hands down Shaman are both more fun and more powerful in a healing role.
