Assuming this is the 3 version:

Remove physical damage and scaling.
Increase magic base damage by 20 and give it A/S INT scaling.
Make the R2 beams appear from regular R2s and not just charged ones.
Fix beam tracking when locked-on (along with those of the Greatsword of Judgements)
Make the MLGS beams have a small AoE impact like in 1 and 2 to make them not exactly the same as the GSoJ beams.
Lower the start-up of HA frames of 2HR1 attacks so they don't just start as the blade swings down. At the same time give basic 1HR1s very narrow HA frames at the beginning of their swings (these changes should apply to all greatswords save Hollowslayer/Drakeblood 2HR1s)
Have the WA stab be unparryable to make it used more.

Yes, weapon memory is permanent and attached to the character once you upgrade it no matter what you do unless you reload a save back-up from before it happened. Or CE I guess, I'm not sure how to do it with that though.

I played through all of DkS3 with estus + 0 on my firtst run.
I had bone shards, just didn't check what they did and thought estus shards were all there was to upgrade Estus because apparently I suffer from ADHD.

I played it and DaS2 on console, then played both again with DLC on PC. Missing DeS and BB in their heyday is a disappointment, but I'm not boiling with rage over it. Everyone knows DaS2 has problems, but I can still enjoy it immensely in spite of them: I can't say the same for DaS3 because there's no variety in PvE or PvP. If the DLC can fix DaS3's core problems, then we might have a contender for one of the best in the series, but as it is, I don't find it the least bit fun to play.
