Im playing WoW for the first time, been doing all of the expansions for the past few weeks as I level up and I have to say, I do not understand all the hate for WoD.

After playing the majority of the main quest lines for each expac WoD really seems like its the highest quality. The entire intro after going through the portal and fighting with a small army,It all felt so cinematic and exciting. The pacing and storyline were top tier in comparison to previous expansions.

Now im doing the garrison quests and even this is highly enjoyable for me, very comfy.

Is it just the people who played for 10 hours a day that said it was so bad?

No. Once you hit 110 you need to wait 5 days to get the next tier of Artifact Knowledge. Even that isn't worth waiting for, since treasures tend to reward 40 AP at the most and end up being a very poor source of AP in general.
