Guys, I hacked my 3DS quite some time ago and haven't touched it in months. It's hacked and I have an emuNAND on it, but it's been so long that I completely forgot how to do anything and what to be careful about.

It has RX-E 10.6.0-31E on it. My sysNAND is on 9.2.0-20E.

I want to update my device to the latest firmware without breaking my emuNAND so that I can access the eShop and buy the latest Phoenix Wright game. Or is there a way to pirate eShop-only games? I really don't remember but I feel like you couldn't do that in the past (maybe I'm remembering wrong).


So, yeah. How do I get the latest Ace Attorney game on this shit? Can I simply update through my emuNAND without breaking anything?

heres the tl;dr version of how ps4 games work

the game still relies on the fact that you need a dev signed eboot to be able to boot. if you try using a normal game (say PT for example) it wouldnt boot. it would just give an error and return you to XMB. now i do have one dev signed game on hand but its a broken build so i cant get past the main menu.

You're not missing out on enough that you should revamp your setup. If you're using a modern entrypoint like menuhax, it's easy to switch to Luma though.

Sadly, it doesn't take anywhere near that long for the effects of burn-in to become visible. I've owned a number of OLED phones (some with much higher quality panels than the Vita's), and with my typical (light) usage of 1-2 hours of screen on time per day, I start to see the beginnings of burn-in by the time I replace them in 2 years.

As a big fan of the Ys series, Memories of Celceta is just a stain on an otherwise excellent series.

Dariusburst is an excellent shooter and occasionally goes on sale. Wipeout and NFS Most Wanted are two solid racing games.

Virtua Tennis is great. Baseball isn't my thing, but MLB the Show did pretty well critically. The FIFA games seem to be fine. Haven't really played them.

Oh, and add Rayman Origins to the platformers. That's the game I bought a Vita for. I should probably mention it. Dustforce is on here as well.

Killzone Mercenary is the only good FPS game, and it's real damn good.

Lumines is available, and it's goddamn Lumines. You can find it for less than 10 bucks.

I don't really play RPGs on this thing, so don't ask me about those. I prefer the PSP games for that. Much less anime. The FInal Fantasy remasters are a thing, though. Ratchet and Clank remastered is also pretty good(Going Commando has some kind of bug, though), although apparently the EU physical versions have some extra bugs.

Jet Set Radio got a port, but people tend to be babies and prefer JSRF because it doesn't have a time limit(It's an arcade-styled game, come on).
