Aggro Shadow is different because phantom howl fucking kills blood. They can't summon and evolve for a drain/heal if you have an empty field. Or if they use a vengeful apocalypse you finish with ghosts. No need to pussyfoot like Sword does.

The talk about aggro shadow reminds me that I want to play with Luna again but I'm out of touch with the current meta.

Supposedly its original Tier 3 difficulty was supposed to have 18 (EIGHTEEN) dimensional rifts on the map, which is pretty much a third of the whole floor. Now it's just 8. Considering rifts downright end your fucking turn and don't "just" damage you if you even tickle them, it's hard to imagine how MW ever thought such a map is fitting for TB's gameplay. Not like kinetic trap storms were, but those could at least be tanked somewhat.

It's pretty much what most aggro shadows look like. Lots of people put in one or two demonic strikes these days though and I'd really recommend it. Really helps out late game when you were only a few points from finishing the job, but then your opponent gets strong and you lose all momentum.

Idk, there has been a lot of slow decks on ladder. I am only b2 because im bad but I got a 9 winstreak with fucking tyrant on ranked yesterday.

Fuck, Vampire Lykos and Flowerbed are really good when you actually get them early enough. So many of these degenerate combo decks don't have the burst early enough in the game, they just throw their game entirely to deal with threats when you get them down to 10 and under by turn 6.

i did, i gave up on quickly because of it's stupid reincarnation system that was clearly designed to waste my time

you see, each world is made up to 10 stage and everytime you reach a new world you can fuck up all your progress and start back from scratch in order to open up chests which give you bonus and also give you permanent powers up

so basicaly you reach world 2, then reincarnate, then reach world 2 again, world 3, then reincarnate, then reach world 2,world 3, world 4, then reincarnate

the game would be already repetitive on it's own without sending the player back at the start once in a while but done this way it just feels like it's a fucking chore

Can shadowverse players explain to me what's the point of having a gacha in the game where you NEED a certain set of cards to play properly?

I mean I understand gachas in waifu-collecting games. You get a waifu, she can be leveled up, you can play solely her or at least a small team of waifus.
While high rarity is important to a certain extent you don't actually need to have good cards to enjoy the game, while in shadowverse you cannot level up your cards throughout the game, they don't gain stats or new skills, you don't have any 'global' progression aside from unlocking new cards(some of which are mandatory for you to play the meta) and leveling up, wouldn't it be best if they only used a 100% sure way like crafting a card you want?

For the first part, there is crafting. You can make any card besides the ones rewarded by story or the basics everybody has by default.

Second, it's a fucking booster pack system. Like actual card games. Did you ask the same fucking question to a real life Magic or Yugioh player? There's also no difference between packs bought with in-game currency and premium currency.

Where's the fun in that? When you play Blood, and you get the opponent to under 15 before turn 7, they 100% know they're dead no matter what, unless Guardian Sun is on the board, and even then they die to 3 Temptress.

Blood usually dangles the fruit of potentially being able to burst the Blood player down until Alucard, Righteous Devil, and Temptress arrives. Hope usually remains until they recover back all their defense in moments.

As an aggro Shadow player though they rarely live to turn 7 in my experience since there Midvale is extremely dangerous. I have a fond memory of Urding a Devil and removing his drain and bane due to vengeance being a fanfare. It guaranteed my win so I wonder what the Blood player thought.

For anyone that enjoys reading character stories and stuff, there's currently a Vampy event in Granblue fantasy with both Japanese text and English text.

The translation isn't shitty like Shadowverse where they rewrite the entire thing and there are no dubs, only JP audio. They still keep the shitty localized names though and completely change some characters names but you should be able to tell right away.

I enjoy reading the story of everything and character stories if I'm interested in the character so sharing this bit of info in case there's other people that think like me and might be interested in this too.

What initially got me into the game is that the setting is about you playing VR MMORPG and meeting girls online, while their evolved card is how they look irl. Also follows up with protag's meeting girls irl one or the other way.
Writing was honestly good for a moe title with slice of life. There were some bland characters for sure, but I enjoyed reading at least half of the stories.

with the arena nerfs slowing me down im probably not gonna be able to make even 1 deck by the time the cards come out...sad times.

my own anecdotal experience is that 120/130/140 are way more common from 4-1 now making infinite impossible even with consistent play because 5-0 is just not possible with certain decks. 3-2 is hellish at as low as 50 gold and as a result 1-4 and 2-3 are probably so low you should just retire at 3 losses and spare yourself the heartache. 5-0 got nerfed too but I've only gotten 1 since the patch and it was 250 like the lowest reward used to be.

yeah unless you're using it to complete daily quests or are some kind of god even the 65% win rate I have over like 100 arenas or whatever it is isn't good enough to make arena worth it, only 5-0 matters and no amount of skill will grant you a god draft or opponents with a hand full of 9 mana cards they've made it 100% luck based which I guess is better for their business model

Forte is less of an issue I think. She gets taken out by the smallest of pings and is blocked by the most piddly of wards.

She's just generally annoying because its 5-7 damage to the face. More with Urd and cant be targetted.

She dies to removal but everyone dies to removal and you dont always have removal if your enemy drops a lot of "Cant be attacked" cards because cygames thought that the thing the craft with ramp, fat drops and fat STORM drops was "Cant be attacked" cards.
