Make a group with horde or alliance.

All it needs is two warriors who know their shit, which isnt even that hard. A druid healer, and two shamans/paladins.

There, you have a crack team for pvp who can take on quite much anything.

Combine a warrior with almost any healer and they can take on a whole group.

Warrior is the epitome of Vanilla, the better warriors gear gets, the more they will sneer at the lowly peasants that are the rest of us.

When I played as an Orc warrior in another private server, Hunters, all of them, were just fodder.
The whole thing revolves around the shammy anyway.
If the shammy dies, so does Windfury and heals. Horde warriors learn to take care of their healers.
At least I did.

As I played as a gnome warrior, a paladin at my back was much more carefree. The pally can take care for himself for almost half a minute, unlike a healshammy.

As a warrior, you still need to take care of the healers.
I had massive success with elemental shammies as well, as they could burst the living shit out of people, as I struck them.

But they were even squishier.

Yeah, when I played horde warrior I carried a bag full of free action. It works well but it usually only works once vs a good team (read 0.5% of the matches you play). The priest quickly realizes they have to dispel the guy killing them if they want to live.

Got to 60 weeks ago on my rogue but now I have no motivation to keep playing on him. Pvp is Bland since everyone just does av and the only world pvp I do is Gank ally at redridge and astranaar. Yea like ur supposed to get prebis for raiding but there's no progress sometimes like there is to leveling so I just get demotivsted

Warlocks aren't as fun as mages.

Blizzard cucked hybrids in vanilla, but druids got really fucked, paladins and shamans had a niché due to buffs or strong single target and chain healing.

Druids only have Hot's which don't stack yet, so really they're only kept around for innervate, and because everyone things their a hardcore guild on an undertuned server you will never even get to cat dps.

PVP saltiness, its incredibly easy to cheese people as a hunter, incredibly easy to due most things as a hunter.

Rogues are okay at 60 it's just they're not the shit kings of killing anymore, other classes scale better in better gear, warriors just fuck people.

Notice how I never said nost wasn't undertuned aswell? DM eye of kilrogg isnt supposed to have only 200-300 HP for starters, and the mastiffs are supposed to have an insane stealth detection radius there aswell. Nost had a good thing going with it's population and quest scripting but the raid / instance tuning wasn't the best. Cross faction mounts are a staple funserver feature btw ;-)

How about a vanilla server that overtunes everything and I mean REALLY overtunes it so vanilla isn't a pushover. I'm talking make it so hard that even autismo guilds will wipefest in MC for weeks before progressing.

You could slowly nerf it each week, that way less good guilds could catch up.

Crestfall devs have demonstrated a pretty good attitude to keeping the spirit of vanilla up on the Q&A they did a while back, cautiously optimistic for that server. The whole Vanilla -> TBC -> Wrath thing is also pretty neat if they can pull it off.

The problem with vanilla private servers is the playerbase and the tedium of 1-60.

Getting a group for VC is easy as fuck.

You can solo the sfk portion at like level 22 with decent gear, tolls blood potions make it really easy. Hardest pull is the wolf boss before the door opens, jump down to the left of the stairs to solo the one worgen. Then pull the boss and his 2 adds, kill one of the adds while making your way back to the door, zone out, reenter.

For BFD the mobs that drop it are the naga casters outside the instance. If you can solo sfk you can solo them. Watch out for the stealthed satyr.
