workbenches being invisible is caused by your game not being able to locate the custom models needed to render the workbenches. There are three possible reasons and solutions for this:

1) You do not have ArchiveInvalidation properly set up in your Fallout4.ini. This is required for the game to use custom assets.

2) NMM failed/was prevented to properly extract the asset files when installing the mod. Check that there are files in Data\Meshes\AWKCR. If not, extract them manually from the .zip and put them there.

3.You have your NMM virtual install on a different hard drive than your Fallout 4 install.

Try re-installing it, if that doesn't work make sure you don't have OneDrive messing things up.

Had that really weird dream again last night. It's dark, can't move, and all I can see outside the little window in front of me is a man and a child. There are two people in front of him. One is trying to take the child from him, and the other is holding a gun to the man's head. Then there's a gunshot and I wake up in a cold sweat with tears in my eyes. I have no idea what the hell any of it is supposed to mean but it's been haunting me ever since we came to the Commonwealth.

As if things weren't bad enough already. A whole mob of ferals decided to come and kill us this afternoon. They overran the barricades. Keane got his neck torn out by one of them...I should've taken that shot.

Rhys got nipped too but he's holding up fine, usual angsty self notwithstanding. Hayden is way too optimistic and Danse is like a robot sometimes.

But the danger is over for now. Danse finally has a lead on how we can fix the station's transmitter and get in touch with command at the Citadel...if the raiders and mutants and Enclave remnants haven't blown that up too like they did Rivet City.

We leave tomorrow for Arcjet Systems.

can someone make a mod where they still go into their animation and require a stimpack/robot repair kit, but they will bleed out if onr isn't given within a certain time table? Would make things much more realistic. If the fight ends, but the companions sre downed, they get a free pass and get up

As for the question, I choose robotics expert in game, but it didn't work at all. I couldn't make the named mr handy robots follow me around, and even the wild protectrons stopped following me at some point, the rest got killed pretty easily, so I am glad that automatron fixed that. Haven't played it yet, but if you can have a normal companion and automatron, They will be my favorite companion

Rivet City getting owned always seemed like the most plausible reason for them getting the reactor core. Not sure on the timeline here but it seems like after Maxson bumped off Lyons and got the outcasts back into the fold they abandoned the peacekeeping shit they did under Lyon's leadership, which would have likely included not babysitting outsiders like they used to. So now mutants and raiders that were once being supressed move right back in and start shitting up places that used to be safe. And one day, either party decides to raid the shit out of Rivet City and it gets sacked while the Brotherhood turns a blind eye because it's none of their business. Then sometime later they're building the Prydwen and realize they need a power source and Rivet City has one. So they go and wipe out whoever lives in it now and take the spoils and the reactor core now that it benefits them to do so.

That's what I've gone by and I don't think Bethesda really says anything about what happened to DC post FO3 so I'm sticking to it.

I made, and by made I mean ripped off and improved, a mod back when there was no Mod Managers for FO4 and you had to install everything manually.
It was a John Cena mod, one of my friends was like "This would be better if the gun went 'And his name is' and the explosion went 'JOHN CENA do do doo dooo,'" so I made that.
It has the possibly awesome side effect of making Car explosions, Super Mutant Suicider explosions, and landing in power armor go "JOHN CENA"
I'll have to look about updating it so it works with the mod managers maybe.

Headed to Arcjet Systems with Danse today to go retrieve the part we needed. Everything went pretty smoothly, until we got there and realized someone had been in here before us and mopped the floor with the automated security. Turns out the looters were synths. A whole shitton of them. I'd never seen one up close before, only knew what they told everyone in briefings: Dangerous. Unpredictable. An affront to humanity. Add spooky to the list, because they look like walking skeletons.

When we got to the lower floors there was a huge rocket engine set up in the middle, presumably whatever project this company was working on before the war. Too bad Haylen couldn't be here to see it, but we'll probably be back to go clean up the place once our 'not being able to call for help' situation is sorted out.

The main power was off so we went to go turn it back on. Of course, as soon as we did, the synths started coming out of the woodwork. They literally just started appearing out of thin air. I have a feeling the whole teleporting thing and the weird energy readings Haylen was talking about are connected somehow. Call it a hunch.

We wiped the floor with the synths, got the transmitter and headed back to Cambridge, only to get caught in a radstorm. We didn't have any Rad-X between us so we've ended up hunkering down at Arcjet for the night. I just hope we actually got all the synths the first time and none show up in the middle of the night to slit our throats or something.

as far as I know unless somethings changed you can't add any animations in 4 just replace them, there's supposedly a hard cap to the number of animations in NV there was empty ones, in 4 there's none(at least from what i've read months ago)
