I've noticed pic related actually works out pretty well with Hand of Protection, and you can even get in clench Forbidden Healings on this guy for value swing trades that ultimately wins you the game.

Just won with a patron warrior deck I build against some guy playing yogg mage. By the time I had lethal, I still had 40-45 life left for him to burn through.

Just started playing this at the suggestion of a friend a couple weeks ago. So far it just seems like pay to win bullshit. 8/10 times I play someone, they completely destroy me with rares and legendaries. The only way to get legendaries yourself is to buy packs because the gold you get from quests is so fucking minimal that you have to save for a couple days just to get one pack. And that's on top of the retarded amount of gold you need to play the solo quest crap.

Don't think of it as free to play, because it really isn't. It's a tcg, like Magic or Yugioh, that also gives out free samples.

It might have been free to play if you started right when it began and are willing to constantly grind/wait months before it actually becomes fun, but otherwise, you'll need to drop $50-100 before you can play it, which honestly isn't bad compared to a lot of tcgs. Most magic decks are $100-200 each if they're anywhere near good. With Yugioh, you can spend that much money just on your extra deck.

This. Also, Google the hidden quests. Don't spand on arena until you know the basic game dynamic, and work towards building a specific deck. Don't just craft Legendaries willy-nilly because you think they're individually strong. A lot of the time, crafting the epics will be better as they're usually the core cards of a class and by extension, most of their decks.

Patience. It's possible to get to legend without paying a cent, potentially in the span of a couple months if you learn well and have the time and patience.

Look up some of the cheaper decks, and just take quests as they come, and you'll earn gold faster than you'll expect to. And once you get a class to level 20, you can always do a tavern brawl once a week for an extra pack.

If you're trying to grind out ranks a week or two into play, you're going to have a bad time, the ladder is a blender for new players who lack experience or decks.

If you wanna just get into higher ranked play quickly, yeah, you'll have to shell out some cash for some packs and maybe adventures, but it's pretty reasonable.

If you wanna play for free though, then just, take it easy, treat it casually, get your daily quests and accept that it'll take time.

Starting at rank 14, what happens first? 120 wins or legend? Playing dragon warrior till gold.

The reason decks play 2 ofs at all is pretty straight forward: when a card is powerful, or important to the decks plan, you want two of them.

The significance of this is that when you play Reno, the fact that you don't get to play two ofs is a considerable drawback. Your deck becomes less consistent.

So when playing, if you see a card that ypu dont see very often or seems a little out of place, ask yourself if they've played any two ofs in the game so far. This is how you learn to identify Reno decks, experience will allow you to do so earlier and earlier in a match.

If you think you've identified a Reno deck, draw out their big swingy answers and put preassure on them when you know you can. You might have to worry about Reno, but you never have to worry about that second flamestrike or truesilver or etc etc etc.

Now stop whining and get better.

WoG cards promote Evolve Shaman really well but without Tuskarr and Totem Golem, Totem Shaman can't get a lot of totems out for Thing From Below and Primal Fusion.
Wicked Witchdoctor from Kara might the solution to this, I think she's a bit too slow though.
we still have 2 expansions to go so maybe we'll get stronger totem-related minions.

Drawing legends is not an auto win, and arena can be very punishing to bad curves. I would take a deck with no bombs but a great curve over a deck with no curve and 3 legends any day.

How's the Maly rogue vs aggro shaman winrate? Better or worse than miracle?
Debating on whether or not to craft Edwin, as playing miracle Maly druid has been a shit-ton of fun and I like the combo/draw-your-deck playstyle in general.
Then again I'm not sure if 35% vs aggro shaman is worth it if the other miracle rogue variations (Questing, Maly) have comparably fucking trash winrates.
