Alot of people have been saying that the drop rate from hells has been really shit since Epic Road came out. The supposed theory is that because the Hell Demons are disabled in Hells that the game thinks that an Insane Hell is a Hardcore Hell because no Hell Demon.

A version with a sword. It's kinda like a butchered weapon master but when the lance is equipped the skills are more tailored towards holds/grabs/throws and do less damage but have more range and hits, when the sword is equipped the skills do more damage/hitstun with less range and hits. Playstyle revolved around setting up what you want to kill with lance then switching to sword and destroying them.

Another variant would be javelin. Almost every skill is ranged outside of a few core melee skills, meant to kite and attack from range with good spread so you don't get shafted by a narrow width. Just be a lancer till you change, then get a toggle buff that makes your X attack throw your spear vs do the normal combo, if you really want to work with that then make the entire skillset work on a toggle with different actions for each skill whether or not it's "on" or "off".

From what I've heard its because she swaps the most amount of gear in a raid and does it frequently sometimes just for one key buff/skill. I guess that also means she has to farm 2-3 more sets than everyone else and maybe more +buff skill emblem/gear bonuses as well. Still apparently the payoff is pretty huge and they can feel the difference being geared makes but its probably gonna remain a pain until the cast buffs only once update hits

So, I don't understand something about Bullet Burster.

Does it attack with the specified number of bullets, but reduces their attack power to just 25%/30%, while dealing multi hits?

For example, if I'm using Armor Piercing Bullets, does this mean I'm using 12 shots, but dealing 3 explosions of 25% of their total damage each?

I was testing, and it seems to actually be a 25% BONUS damage, rather than a reduction.

I reached lvl 86 before finishing power station epics (and later epics).

Is it a good idea to just save them for 90 cap or do I actually want to clear them now for the better use of the feat ticket clear. As long as there's nothing crazy like that Kartel badge feat quest, then it doesn't really matter.

You'll be able to skip Power Station and Zelva epics once you get to a certain level in 90 cap, but I'd just do it now for the free stats from the Title Book.

There's one Feat that's a pain in the ass to do where you have to collect 10/20 items from the bosses in Power Station and they tend to drop 1-2 a run. You have to do the Pit's Magtonium Feat to unlock it.

Use it at level 85 if the ticket allows you to do so (Double check level ranges since I know there's some feat Tickets that can only be used 1-84). It only unlocks all feats up to your current level.

If you were to use it at level 70, you'd have all the level 70 and below titles unlocked but would have to manually unlock all the level 70+ titles.

There's literally no reason to be playing the game right now.

Then look at something like Lucky 7, which had great rewards. It incentivized me to play a lot, because you had to run 4-8 dungeons to get Lucky 7 tickets, which had amazing potential. Couple that with the Insane potions from Honey Time and the very lucrative Lucky DI pouches, and it's like having a Hell event.

A simple case study of bad game event design vs. good game event design.

The problem with f2p games is that the core playerbase, the one you actually get money from, is ridiculously stupid.

See, a large majority of them see the game as a job. Therefore, anything that slows down the efficiency of them doing their "job" is a meaningless obstacle that needs to be eliminated.

This is one of the core reasons driving the streamlining epidemic plaguing f2p games. The core playerbase is incredibly vocal. They want any and all inefficiencies removed so that they can "finish" the game as quickly as possible. Having to look for a party and level grind and shit instead of smoothly transitioning from scenario to scenario is, to them, worthless. There's no point. It's better to be able to get to endgame easily and quickly.

Now, sane people know otherwise, but the aforementioned playerbase is so cancerous that they usually drive all the sane people away. End result: Almost no MMO on the market today is actually an MMO anymore. There's very little socialization. It's a market full of Facebook party games that you occasionally play with other people.

I'd say that's the fault of the game design itself, especially the FP system which encourages mixmaxing the effort each day, not to mention the nature of the events we get all the time.

It just doesn't feel very relaxed at all. The only reason we're putting up with all these clutter is because the gameplay is fun (but we're all burnt out by this point so it's not fun anymore but we still keep playing). The events are very good but this also means you don't want to miss a single one either since it's like missing out on a holiday exclusive item or something, otherwise you'll lose motivation for your characters.

It's just very different compared to other MMOs where you can really just play at your own pace and maybe never even reach max level after a year or so just because you're jscrewing around with other stuff (that's basically RO for me).

I barely manage to use half of my FP bar on my main and that's dumping like 30 runs into grandine just for money.

God forbid finishing TWO level 86's. Maybe if shit like Elf Ruin wasn't limited, yeah. Or OV. But as it is my only option to do anything worth a damn is just run kulun or whatever for EE's to fund more daily EXs because knowing that ebins are being redone there's no point to do any of the measly 1k I have.

This leaves me...literally nothing to run. 6-12 OV runs, 2 Elf Ruins, 1 Tower. That leaves like 230 FP to spend on shit.

DFO is just not the game to play for that. The game recently got a rework that basically removed/discouraged any partying until you get to level cap.

The rework made the whole leveling process to cap a tutorial pretty much. So much so that events to level up to cap level are relatively frequent (current one is leveling up Demon Lancer to 86 within 10 days for best rewards).
