D.Va is the exception because it's so painfully telegraphed it's basically impossible to hit anyone with it. Even after NERF THIS you have a ton of time to react. Can't find the mech? You're safe then. Did she boost at you? You can literally crouch behind a potted plant and take 0 damage.

The only thing it's good for is if the enemy team tries to push a choke and committed ults, where you just dump the mech there and they just wasted a ton of time. D.Va is such a terrible character it's not even funny.

Some things that might remedy Pugna's situation is:
-No mana cost when using life drain on allies.

I won't argue she doesn't have good design, but my god she plays so awful even from day 1 and Blizzard thought she needed a nerf because she had a niche in the ability to stop "Press Q to win" play. I'm not sure what you would qualify as a good HP item because most of them are balanced around the fact that strength heros get damage from strength.
If, for instance, vanguard were to give raw damage or strength, then it would be an instant "must-have" pick-up for many heroes, specifically strength heroes.
Strength heroes are inherently """""broken""""" in the sense that they can have both health and damage, allowing them to scale well in both tankability and damage output, so to circumvent that, the HP ITEMS are balanced around not giving too much damage so that they don't just automatically override any builds (see new abyssal)

It wouldn't be very useful for most hero's since mobility is pretty important in alot of ways. Plus there's almost no item or hero ability that detriments the user's stats (only one i can remember from the top of my head is tiny's grow reducing attack speed for damage).

However it would be broken as fuck on someone like huskar, spectre, or pudge.

It's one of those concepts that's like, both broken and underpowered at the same time if you get what i mean.

You gotta take into account what niche the item should fill, since this looks like just pure tank, there's no reason to build this over crimson or heart. What I played: All Pick non-comp.
Who I played: Sniper.
Story time: So, I start out, get my starter gear, defend Mid. I saw someone, shot my mortar, drew FIRST BLOOD (alright!!). Get some creeps up with me and slowly take out the tower. Got another kill then followed by my own death. Mid-Game now, my KD (I think?) was 7-3. Not bad for my first online match. We take out all three outer towers, work our way in. Had really good teammates. Then the other team started playing dirty. Really dirty. We both had all of our towers destroyed.
Finally reached level 25 with Sniper. Great player, I really enjoy him. Keep launching mortars and my single shot blast. Other team starts to invade our town (The starter area, I am not sure what it is called, sorry.) The other team had a character called Phantom Assassin, holy crap this guy was good. He killed all of our team, then him and the creeps along with his teammates destroyed our Base Defense.
End Result: Granted we lost. I had a hell of a good time online. Sniper is a great character. I like his abilties and how he plays. I left the game with 13 kills and 15 deaths. All in all for my first online match, I think I did fairly decent, but others may think different.
I can see how people have 1000s ('?) of hours in this game. I can't wait for more!!!
TL;DR: Noob played first online game. Did decent, but still lost, nonetheless had fun.
