At maximum performance, V.Hek > Hek

BUT V.Hek requires a lot more investment because of Primed Ravage, so if you're new regular Hek is more cost-effective.

The V. Hek does 97% of the Hek's damage even with Scattered Justice.

And if you're talking about cases where crits don't apply, Nullifier shields go away slowly no matter how much damage you deal to them, and other situations where crits don't apply are rare.

Killing level 200 enemies in defense missions wasn't a whole lot harder than doing sorties now.

The enemies were higher level back then, but we had overpowered shit like Acrid and Nova to deal with it. The new game has tons of new enemy types like Nullifiers and eximus enemies with special effects that can make things just as challenging.

The one thing the game does sorely need is competitive events. Those were the true endgame, and they've been dead for a lot more than 5 months.

Reminder that if you even think "skill" is measurable in Warframe then you're a fucking idiot. This game's most difficult content requires only three things:

1) Competence at basic tasks.
2) The ability to hit a target 50% of the time.
3) Basic understanding of mod builds.

That's it. Once you have those things then congratulations, you're capable of being in the top 10% of Warframe players. Everything else is grind because you need to actually get the mods and the weapons to use them on.

I've been playing this game on and off for three years. I'm a founderfag. I'm only Mastery Rank 14 because I can not be assed to constantly grind. I just get the broken weapons, do 50% of the damage, and carry the sortie/events I play.

It sounds like you're saying that crit based weapons/builds are somehow worse against armored targets, and I want to know why.

The only reason I could see is that armor somehow blocks crits, but I don't think that's the case (correct me if I'm wrong). Otherwise, a crit weapon should be just as effective as a non-crit weapon, assuming they both do the same damage.

Not that guy, but ever since the entry of new Auras, I suppose it will happen eventually in order for people to be able to use the new Aura. But...how can they do that when the scaling on armor for enemies is pretty much all over the place, which is why we use CP most of the time. Basically, every item that has a rank lower than or equal to your mastery rating is treated, drain-wise, as if it's equal to your mastery rating.

So at MR12 then your un-forma'd, un-potatoed rank 4 Braton P has 12 energy. And when it goes up to rank 5, it still has 12 energy.

That means that theoretically an MR30 player ignores ranks period, except for gaining focus or spending forma on things.

You can build for his 1, which you can speedrun with.

His builds are said to be similar to Rhino for his 3 and 4. I have never played Rhino before so I just used the wiki when I first got him

Because of his 3, he can go without QT, if you can cast fast enough as soon as its gone. Its invulnerable phase absorbs damage into its own health as well. I enjoy his Safeguard augment, pretty fun for me, casting it on sortie defense targets, allies, companions, specters.
Basically, this is another option than Limbo if you can get a Nezha built around his 3 + Safeguard augment and allow him to handle it as Warden Halo can cause constant stagger to enemies close at the radius.

Melee is good with Lifestrike and/or acolyte mods crit builds

however for low levels slide attack spamming and quick melee will still deal good damage

the only reason to not use a melee would be to get the most of AOE experience if you are leeching something like defense and want to max a frame or weapon

personally i build for survivability.
fleeting expertise so i can cast shattershield and shooting gallery cheaply. Primed Continuity and Narrow Minded to keep them up for nearly a minute. Intensify for 95% damage reduction from projectiles and some other effects with Shattershield. Power Drift in Exilus cause why not.

This part is up to you but ive found it helpful. Primed Flow with Quick thinking, with Steel Fiber and Vitality. You will have a lot of health and armor so you can survive a hit if shatter shield is down. With shattershield up, you are getting a lot of damage reduction when Quick thinking kicks in with all that armor.

Most your secondary for for Multishot, Crit Chance, Crit Damage, and 90% elementals (corrosive fire)

even with bad mods, you will do fine.
