Legion's level sync is shit man. It only really "works" on the latest of content, and my DPS drops as I level up because enemies are being bumped up faster than my gear level. Worse yet, it's not limited to instanced content but applies across the whole zone, meaning that the entire stretch of levels from 100-110 gives you no tangible increase in power.

They've finally made an expansion where every aspect of it is a grind that only exists to open up more grind.

XIV is a classic theme park MMO where there's tons to do but it's all just pointless entertainment that doesn't even come out to a video game achievement most of the time. There's a metric fuckton of casual content if you're not going to grind raids whether you like it or not.

But even if you're going to grind raids, as of Legion, WoW's grind is even worse than XIV's. It wasn't this bad in the past but the new expansion locks your progression behind a dozen different fronts of bullshit that you're expected to complete before they open up content to you. There isn't any reward for going half-way anymore, you literally do nothing but collect power until the game tells you you have enough, and usually at that point it's overkill for any half-decent player.

>Level to 110, your rotation doesn't change along the way, enemies all scale to you so you never get stronger
>Grind reputation with factions in order to unlock content and gear that does nothing until you hit the arbitrary requirements
>Wait 10 weeks for your Class Order campaign to finish with no impact from your end so that you're allowed to progress
>Grind artifact power that doesn't change your play options at all but gives you additional damage%
>Grind additional gear levels that serve no function except to stall your progress

Don't get me wrong, XIV's gear grind is fucking shit but at least you can cover for deficiencies with play, at least you can shave down on it with commitment. WoW's grind is in the worst state since vanilla. Pushing an alt through the stretch between ARR and HW isn't as bad as the time I'm having in WoW right fucking now. Holy fucking shit.

My apologies for the rant, I'm just really upset that I'm playing this game right now.

After my coughing fit I log into the game and prop myself on the bench and idle a bit before I light myself up a joint. I take hard 10 second hits each time to kill this before I queue up for my first roulette. Once it dings I take out my bong and pack dat f a t bowl. I take several hits off that bong throughout the dungeon. (SCH for extra comfy)
Once completed I take a 2 quick fire TSGs and spark up another joint and prepare another bowl for the next dungeon.
Carpet flooring and dark room for extra comfy.
