Weekes apparently wrote 80% of what was actually good in ME3 (that is, all of Mordin and Tali's stuff, half of Garrus's dialogue, and most of the Tuchanka arc) after Drew and Chris left. I believe this account, it matches a few other details we've got of Hudson and Walters' 'process' and attitude, plus the drastic last minute differences between the leak and the full ending, as well as the quickness with which the Extended Cut was put out (implying some assets were already in place). Plus we already know he had to talk them down from doing other stupid shit, like cutting Tali as a squadmate, and that he felt confident enough in his innocence to actually throw this out there despite never throwing his co-workers under the bus like this in the past.

I wonder if this got him in trouble behind the scenes though. People really don't take too well to you throwing them under the bus to the public. Even if you quickly delete it and take it back. Even if it's true. It makes him look like a poor team player.

Saving the Council enables you to see the Destiny Ascention in ME3. It doesnt do much, but its cool when it appaers in the dissappointing cinematics.

Saving the council comes with no downsides whatsoever other than you have to fight Sovereign in Saren body 2 times instead of one. But that shouldnt be a problem since you are invincible at that point.

In ME3 I'd have preferred indoctrinated mercs and planetary defense fleets that surrendered in the initial stages of the invasion. Not made into dumb husks, but like something like Saren. Twisted and broken into puppets.

Trapped, nude in an envirobubble on some backwater planet. You'd have to fight, barter and scavenge till you can escape.
I'm imagining an orbital elevator, choked with shacks and prefabs at the base, the remnants of exiled prisoners, refugees and misfits. No ships to speak of, and the elevator has long since fallen into disrepair. Far above in space there's a small refueling station and trade hub. But the elevator is little more than a pillar of rust, composite and super-material struts. Assailed on all sides by little shacks and improvised elevators until the air gets too thin to breath.
You'd have to fight through the 113th ring blockade. Barter with oxygen merchants and sneak aboard elevators built from scrap. Fight automated repair bots. And climb. Upward, always.
You'd meet interesting characters and companions in the many bars scattered throughout the structure. The structure is huge and at the end, on the edge of space you find the original elevator, a huge slab of metal, nothing like the improvised lifts you've ridden previously. But it's locked in place and without power. You get the choice to take a maintenance cart up to the top, or fix the elevator and descend back to the masses as hero.

The game would have combat, but lots of exploration too. Things like being asked to clear the psuedobird-nets of debris in time for the yearly migration. Or solving a power struggle between rivalling elevator barons, before they start to fight and potentially cut off all access to the higher levels.

Good. You opened this message. This isn't actually asari military command. They're busy tending to what's left of their planet.

So you survived our fight on Thessia. You're not as weak as I thought. But never forget that your best wasn't good enough to stop me. Now an entire planet is dying because you lacked the strength to win. The legend of Shepard needs to be re-written. I hope I'm there for the last chapter. It ends with your death.

They should have left Cerberus as what it was in ME1. A black ops shadow organization that achieves their goals though highly planned and executed strikes, be in and out in mere seconds, achieve the goal at any cost, with the Illusive man pulling the strings for a higher goal.

In ME2 you then get offered a chance to join them as you can play a renegade success at all costs kind of guy in ME1 and you fit their operating style. Even have TIM give you good reasons for what he is doing and how he is doing it. You get called a traitor by everyone but you actually did the decision to join and help them. Not like in ME2 were you are forced into your role wether you like it or not. Even if you play Paragon or Renegade you can never actually express how you feel about working with Cerberus. It all boilds down to a dry line like, they are the only ones who investigate the Collector abductions, which is total bullshit since the Alliance does the same as stated by Anderson and Kaiden and in ME3 by James.

The Normal difficulty, the "true Mass Effect experience", is pretty ridiculously easy in ME3. I tested the "Insanity" "Difficulty" on Thessia at the part near the temple where 3 Harvesters, 2 Rachni and 3+ Maurauders with Reaper Barriers bomard you while you have to wait for a gunship to come back.

I just positioned my squadmates so they dont get hit and myself right infront of everything behind a piece of debris. I didnt have to do anything, no powers, not one single shot given. The Maurauders never advanced or tried to flank me, instead they hid behind cover. The Harvesters and Rachni just bombarded my cover without any effect. The whole segment lasted for 1+ minute until the Harvesters piss off and you can kill everything else. YOU CAN LEAVE THE FUCKING PC IN A MAJOR OUTNUMBERED BATTLE AGAINST THE MOST ADVANCED AI. its a fucking joke.

OP here, I think one of the mods fucked me. I installed a few and so after the initial prologue the game wont let me load into the Mars mission. I tested this with the vanilla copy with no mods and it was working fine. At the moment my game is patching those Textures. I may just get Mehem and be done with it. I had the same problem, fix to that was that I had to rename the expanded galaxy mod and the ME1 normandy backgroundmusic to XDLC_MOD....etc, then it would load correctly. But the mod also had a bug where it wouldnt load the holding area on the citadel. In the end I just uninstalled, kept the normandy backgroundmusic tho.

you first install all of the mods, like MEHEM (I prefer JAM cause it keeeps the original ending and cuts out the starchild), extended Anderson conversation and EGM. Then you install ALOT. ALOT shouldnt cause any crashes since it just replaces textures. If you are done you can edit you coalescend file for graphic tweaks (there are a few good guides) and run the autotoc in the me3explorer. Like I said, the bugs and crashes I encountered were mostly caused by the EGM mod, but I couldve fucked something up.
The mods are all in the DLC folder in you CrookedPC folder. you can switch mods on and off by simply altering the name, like adding a "X" at the start of the name. this disables the mod and lets you test which mod causes crashes. eventually you have to run the autotoc again since it is responsible for the right DLC implementation.

This would be good if the developer is know for his quality games (see Valve and HL3), but with Bioware and EA it is more likely they want to hide the fact that the game is in an unfinished state.
