None of the classes are really exceptional because Josh Sawyer is autistic about balance
Companions are pretty bland
Story is rehashed from better Obsidian games
Defiance Bay (the Baldur's Gate-like city) fucking sucks
Your castle also sucks (the dungeon beneath it is pretty cool though)
Some of the "fantasy" terms are unintentionally stupid (vampire is for nerds, it's FAMPYR now)

In Avellone's version of PoE, Durance and the Grieving Mother were supposed to be mutually responsible for their respective conditions. They would eventually realize it and try to either duke it out or let go of their animosity depending on how you treated them. Then they scrapped Avellone's ideas because they were too problematic for Josh's sensitive soul or something

So Weekes said this when asked about Felassan and his appearance. He confirmed he was a slave of Mythal, but The Masked Empire also seems to suggest that he was one of Fen'Harel's trusted soldiers/friends who could access the fortress in the lake in Trespasser.

Fen'Harel and Mythal allied, dude. If you drink from the Well and play Trespasser, you can avoid fighting the spirits guarding Fen'Harel's refuge for the slaves by telling them the secret passwords that only Fen'Harel's allies knew.

The Well reveals it to you, so the Inquisitor realizes Mythal was allied with the Dread Wolf, although you can find out in the main game that Solas was betrayed by a woman. The Evanuris are locked away somewhere in the Fade and she wants to reach them. I think that's where she and Solas will clash: he "had plans" to keep them locked away, while it's clear she wants to free them just to kill them once and for all.

Once he realizes what she is trying to do, he will go mad and if the Inquisitor somehow manages to convince him to stop, she will pop out from somewhere and betray her friend/son again.

To be honest, she just guided some pawns to ensure things would go her way. She didn't really build the world, she just nudged things here and there, forced people to promise her important things in exchange for power and help, but rarely took part in other matters.

Both the Avvars and the Dalish know her for being a capricious, wicked being that rarely really helps people and usually only makes things worse.

An elven Inquisitor can even ask her why she never answered the Dalish's prayers and protected her people and she curtly and bitterly dismisses him/her. She didn't really save the world, she just made sure it would survive until the moment was right and all things were ready for her to finally act.

Wut. No, he just wants to restore the elven people and recreate the optimal conditions for the elves to become powerful and immortal again. The Inquisitor asks him "If you had destroyed the Veil (at the start of Inquisition), wouldn't have the false gods got free?"

Sandal's prophecy implies that Solas will succeed to a certain extent. Maybe there will be different ways to make the Veil fall, so different consequences.

DA5 might be something like Andromeda: a game set in a very far future and in a new, reborn Thedas so different from the old one to justify new characters, rules, and just cameos of old characters.
