Hello /wfg/, I am a mastery rank 12 player who just logged on since my last time playing (sometime near Ivara's release) and I am noticing a lot of changes.

First off, it looks like this solar map got fucked. It used to look really simple, and it looks like they've abandoned that and just made things flashy and harder to understand. Also, there's some new planets I don't remember being there. There's also these relic things that I assume replace the void keys since I seem to be getting them as defense rewards and such. The shop UI is overly complicated, just like the map, but at least you can search for individual items in that case. Also I've noticed those glowy cephalon pieces scattered around the maps, and I've been scanning them, but I have no clue what they're really for. Then there's the replacement of fusion cores with this new currency, which I actually kind of like. I've also noticed some changes to some warframes' abilities, like Desecrate on Nekros and Vauban's weird new ability cycle like Ivara has.

So I guess the main questions I have are:
What do these relics do, and what purpose does the void serve now?
Is this new mod fusion system better or worse than the old one?
Are there any other warframes that got significant changes like Vauban and Nekros?

They nerfed the Rare Resource Drop part of the Charm ability from multiple rolls of the drop to one. Everything else is the same.

So you can still get double traces and syndicate medallions and red crits and shit. It's negligible.

How to fix Sentinels:

Let Vacuum go on all of them.

Change the Carrier to be an ammo bank; it picks up extra ammunition off floor and gives it to you periodically/if you run out.

Instead of mixing them, why not make Tail Wind cause the Divebomb smash when you TW downward? Then you just aim where you want to go.

Here's another idea. It starts out a lot slower than it does now, but if you hold it, you continually spend energy, getting faster and picking up more of a... tail wind, dragging people in ragdoll behind you.

Then when you hit a wall or floor, all the speed you built up is turned into damage.

Ability 2 should be a quick, short-range burst that knocks things back... But also reflects projectiles.

Here's another idea- it also consumes Zeph's currently-running powers- from Tailwind to Turbulence- and expands the radius and knockdown time depending on 'charge' Tailwind has or the duration left on Turbulence.

Tornado also needs to actually suspend enemies in the center of the tornadoes, the way Zenurik does- levitating off the ground for as long as the tornado is there.

I'm finally revisiting Mesa after being turned off by the initial Peacemaker change and think she's in a good place Constantly managing timed abilities is a pain but I'm enjoying her a lot more since last I played her. Two questions still nag me, though:

What's the threshold where power strength becomes less important for a well modded sidearm to not fuck over other stats?

And what's the sweet spot for range so the gay Peacemaker wheel (they should just make it LoS for the camera) to not be a pain?

Depends on if you want a crit build and what you are going for. You can get comparable damage,but rakta cernos has a syndicate effect though which deals viral (Which is effective against most units) , restores 25% of your energy, and gives a movement speed boost. For a weapon passive, that makes it a few notches above the dread to me. Really though, they are both really good for most content, and both will probably fall off if you go for hours of survival (There is no reason to try to do endless survival runs anymore other than bragging rights really though)

Honestly it blows the other focuses completely and utterly out of the water. I could see some others being useful with specific builds- a stealth critmelee build could be amazing with naramon, for example- but Zenurik is pretty much a necessity.

Though until then, you'll probably just have to make do. Put on Streamline, Flow, or Energy Siphon mods when you find them until then. If you get a carrier it'll make things a lot easier, though 100k creds might be a bit of a stretch for you right now.

Ash, even though he's edgy, can solo interceptions and kill shit well for quite a bit. (Interception, Defense, Mobile Defense)
Ivara, because she can do spies and Interceptions. well, along with her frog booty and OP bow (Spy, Rescue, Interception, Survival)
Nekros, to get yourself some sick loot, Shield of Shadows makes him pretty tanky (any mission hat has you stay in one place so your shadows can tank for you and you can desecrate)
Frost, for globes (Defense, MDefense, Excavation, Survival sometimes)

Any frame can do Exterm and Sabotage. Hopefully I didn't fuck up and miss a mode. Please be aware that I am not you, you can find your personal best, and you should get every frame regardless. These frames are picked assuming you are soloing everything, you can pick up casters, CCers and buffers if you feel like. Saryn for example, can crush lower level defenses, and with Toxic Lash, about 8 enemies, and a high reach weapon (I tried a Gas Lacera,) she can do some serious damage to lv100 heavies, provided you don't die in the process of bashing them over and over.

Dread. Rhino is good for starter stuff, but Dread is end game material. Dread will always be good for assassinate and spy missions. Rhino will fall out of use when you start getting better frames and mods. Iron skin doesn't hold up. Stomp CC is good but there are better options for CCing.
