Please help me /wowg/, I'm completely heartbroken. I only like playing caster classes yet dislike Mage's gameplay, I always loved Warlock's lore and was happy seeing that Demonology was getting big changes but what I found in the actual game was just trash, not just Demo but all the warlock specs are literally trash.
Are there any caster classes, excluding mages, that can perform decently in PvP?

They are the quintessential caster and are the best (some would say only viable) caster in PvP.

Honestly frost mages have some of the highest survivability in PvP.

Anyway, you can try boomkin or spriest but most people will agree that mages are a stronger class overall in PvP.

It's easy, healing is somewhat constant, if you get a level100 tank they take damage from level 100 mobs, if you get a 109 tank they take damage from 109 mobs. As a level 100 healer using 715 gear I was able to heal 109-110 tanks taking far heavier damage than I was designed to heal as disc and my runs went smooth so you should be fine

I didn't find heroics hard, just significantly harder than normal.

I remember during leveling thinking "wow all these dungeons suck ass" because they were so simple and boring, so when I got to run heroics I was pleasently surprised that mechanics were added, improved and buffed to the point that you cant just completely ignore them.

And with mythic that went to the next level in addition to trash now being of relevant difficulty.

I found the contrast to WoD especially drastic. In WoD the difficulties were mostly bigger numbers, no comparison to Legion.

BM is easy for single target shit.

Kill Command > Dire Beast > Cobra Shot and put on crows so it refreshes every time you kill.

With the Artifact you get a second pet so in the end it's like 3-4 animals and a buncha crows and you spam cobra shot.

It's fun because the damage is good but also simple. I like Survival too because it's slightly more complicated to alleviate boredom.

Considering mythic dungeons keep scaling, I want to play something as brain dead as possible to not fuck up and keep progressing as much as the time allows. I'm already leveling a guardian druid for this reason, but I kind of want to have a strong dps on the side that has similar qualities and doesn't have much risk of fucking up. For some reason I been avoiding hunter, i guess I played it too much back in BC and WOTLK, was looking at their new talents and the sidewinder thing kind of confused me since people were saying all they do is spam sidewinder as MM.

Demo single target turreting only, destro for aoe/cleave. Outside of standing still doing single target demo is garbage, good thing too though because demo is fucking cancerously bad to play.
