If you are not in a top world mythic progress guild you are not getting kicked for not beaing "viable" everything is "viable" to some degree ond specific encounters. If you get kicked from a casual guild for not being "viable" best thing to do is writing the GM a letter of appreciation for sparing you the horrible experience in being a shitty social normal guild

On your topic Warriors are in a great spot right now, Arms is very good in PvE and always was good in PvP. Fury lacks a little behind on ST but has excellent cleave dmg. Prot is one of the best tanks and also fun to play. Like prviously said i recommend you at least gett the easy traits (13) into prot so you can do world quests and grind dungeons.

Why do tanks do so much damage? Every single heroic I go in if the tank isn't a complete retard they are #1 DPS on every trash pull, and its not like their DPS is complete shit on single target either.

I want to keep playing Balance but I honestly do more damage literally switching to guardian and spamming 2 aoe buttons as a 2nd tank spec in the group until we get to a boss. I do more damage than all of the other dps usually too, unless its a demon hunter. Sure I can burst incredibly hard AOE if I spec Wrath of Elune, but thats a minute cooldown. I'll top the chart on one pack, and be worthless for the next.

I'm tempted because even with flanking strike I have some down time with literally nothing to do...but waiting it out and using better stuff is still preferable I think.

Why is arcane get Mage bad?

It's less mobile with it's hard casts, but I use icy flow or cast blink

My AB crits for 130k and pyro 100k, my arcane missiles hit for 15-30k and my FB hits for 70k, fireball crits for 20k

Aoe, I get 150k crits with mark, and 40k with arcane explosion

How is it weaker? Especially with quickening...

They use either Light magic or Shadow magic. In order of ascension re: ratio, Holy, Discipline, Shadow. If established lore is not enough for you, see visual and sound effects.
