It's one of the two heists that requires you to actively kill the shit out of turrets to survive pubs. Other one being Meltdown. Of course, you can greentext ">bothering with turrets on Meltdown" but these are pubs. A simple 15 minute job is always a 40-minute kill-all-turrets endeavour for me in a DW pub.

I'd rather sit there for 20 minutes in a corner collecting ammo to kill the turret with than run across the courtyard to do objectives on the blind hope that I won't run into a Cloaker or Taser on standby on the outside corner where the fucking Doc Bag asset is. Makes sense though, there's no insider, so the gang probably just dumped the bags outside before coming in or something.

It's not the hardest DW though.
I'd put it at like...Lab Rats or something else. Definitely not Biker. Snipers and the turret are fucking annoying but nowhere near "hardest DW" tier.

Sometimes they want to cuff you, sometimes they want to shoot you. It's RNG probably, Long Guide has a section on guards when they aggro.

Also in the times when you point your crosshairs at them in line of sight, they will drop whatever they're doing and just shoot at you.

This was part of the trick in Old Train where if you're with a team and you guys fucked up stealth and the fifth guard is trying to call it in, you had a guy just hide behind a rock or something and keep pointing the crosshairs at the guard so he would keep shooting at the rock while trying to shoot the guy instead of calling it in while the remaining three quietly moved the 40 ammo bags to the boat.

For the record, I did a DW jewstore out of curiosity. It takes about 8 minutes if you don't have any drill perks, isn't very hard if you just murder everyone, and gives almost the same XP as Ovk Shadow Raid - which takes about half an hour. But you can't do solo DW at level 0, so Shadow Raid wins there.

Just like a dozer: Blow away its faceplate with an HE Judge, then shoot it in the weak spot (for the turret, the lens where the laser comes out).

With a high enough DPS weapon like the M308 you can usually destroy it before it gets a chance to repair

Goonmod. allows you to customize the colors of your lasers/flashlight (and share with other goonmod users), give yourself custom weapon skins (and share them with other goonmod users), apply mutators to your heists (ever wanted to replace all spawning cops with cloakers?), and bypass the shitty random drop system (collecting courier packages gives you Gagecoins, which can be used to buy weapon mods/masks/etc. directly, though you can't buy infamy/achievement rewards).

I don't think the mechanics of shooting have changed much, though they did fuck with weapon balance. What gun were you using? Something boring but effective like the Gewehr or a shotgun, or something fun like the minigun, flamethrower, or akimbo SMGs?
