She is steadily growing in popularity and ban rate too.

Yes, it's almost entirely in her ult. It was bugged to the point it didn't pick up spheres, so you ended up not getting kills when using it. Since when it's been fixed her winrate has increased by a lot.
That and the awful stun wall they introduced with the MYMU, which literally broke her kit, since you can keep up 6 spheres up for the entirety of a teamfight, and have the 7 spheres ult ready whenever you want starting level 13.
She is challenging not only in her kit but as a whole, since she has no speed burst, no shield, no dash, no blink. Just damage and cc. If you fuck up your E and don't have flash good luck surviving in tight situations.

If you look at patch history you will notice this:
" Unleashed Power

New Effect: Now continues to check for spheres during the entire cast duration, rather than only on-cast.

Which fixed her ult both in not firing after she died and it not picking up spheres. Since that her win rate increased because her ult is a HUGE part in her snowball potential. You're making me explain things I really feel I shouldn't be doing.

After the laning phase, he operates best (in my experience at least) as a tanky assassin of sorts.
Your job is to run in at their squishy Mid and or ADC at the speed of sound and crush them before they can offer anything to the fight.
Do this in every fight and you'll be giving your team a big damage advantage.

This is why he works best against teams that have immobile squishy Mids/ADCs: anyone like Ashe, Jinx, Brand, Zyra etc will offer little to no resistance.

If you get rolling in lane, you'll be pretty fed and doing this will be pretty easy, especially if you're vs. one of the aforementioned champs.
