I played and loved FE 7,8,RD,PoR,a bunch of GBA hacks like girls and midori and even Awakening but I didn't find the game fun at all.

FE11 you get shilled a lot that you'd recruit Camus but then he ded.
FE4 Sigurd and everyone else you raised in Gen 1 was pretty damn sad. Learning about Tailto's death was also pretty damn sickening.
in FE5 Having Mission Control armless guy die was kinda sad too.
FE6 is kinda sunshine and happiness for the most part so I can't think of anything
FE7 had Matthew's waifu die and that was pretty sad.

Last week after not playing fates for months because I didn't want to replay 3 shitty stories and I started to think about how it could be fixed.
In Hoshido you prove to be the peaceful nation who dindu nuffin by killing a bunch of Nohrians and the ending is fucking stupid
In Nohr Kamui is a bitch but does try to help the nation only to be foiled by Saturday cartoon villains and the ending is slightly better
Revelations is fucking stupid when both sides consider Kamui as a traitor when they explicitly state that they want to be neutral
So I thought that what we were truly lacking was a good villain
And then it hit me.
Aqua
She keeps to herself for 75% of the game and manages to become liked by everyone by being completely neutral
And after thinking about it she's very manipulative in the Bioshock kind of way in which Kamui felt like they were the ones in charge while Aqua was supporting them no matter what when in actuality she made them do what she wanted.
So here is a little story I whipped up
>Aqua's family is murdered and her kingdom is taken
>Forced to never tell anyone about it or fucking die
>That combined with the isolation (Kinda like Kamui) makes her snap
>She probably knew that Kamui was her cousin and that the song was meant for them
>No matter what route they she would always be supportive and never get into trouble
>Let's say Kamui takes 3rd path
>Kill baddy
>Everyone thinks Kamui should lead the kingdom
>Aqua's calm demeanor snaps and she goes into a rage
>Accuses Kamui of being blind for clinging to the idea that you can get by in the world without killing when both her parents were murdered
>Uses a distorted version of gay waves to either frenzy/disable Kamui
>Both royal families calm her down
>Your entire army vs only Aqua
>Uses the stats she had with you
>If you never used her it's a victory pathetic victory since she doesn't have a chance
>If she was one of your mains then it's not only going to be harder but you lose a unit you invested in
