It's not really pay to win, if you're patient you can grind it out with cheaper decks. It's mostly pay to have faster access to a bigger variety of decks you can play.

Put in two bog creepers + senjin + twin emps, you need a fuckton of taunts to survive Nazras shit. Try and cast divine spirit on a taunt

Nazra will prioritize executing/bashing minions that heal you, that means stuff like priest of the feast and tournament medic, and northshire cleric. I also had her execute my heal for 10 c'thun card, I assume just because of the high attack.

The goal is to get c'thun to 72/72 with hooded acolytes and 1 shot MC, keep Nazra on 1 health while you buff c'thun to make sure she can't swing her weapon at your taunts.

MC won't necessarily cast twisting nether the first turn he's out, but he will the next turn. If he doesn't cast twisting nether just send everything to the face then play c'thun after the nether

This was the longest game since I started playing HS so far, epic fight.

I thought I had already won when I dropped C'Thun there for a moment but then the warrior dropped a card that fully healed him, I had a lot of luck with the draws and managed to repel all his minions with spells and stuff till we both ran out of cards, the match ended like that out of fatigue which almost killed the warrior, when his hp dropped to 1 for the second time he let me end it with fireblast, fatigue was gonna kill him in the next turn anyway even with the 4 armor from the hero power. Well played.

My main account rolled an otohime, aurelia and a lucifer with 4 other legendaries on its first try (on top of the free ones) so i'll probably make a swordcraft deck there first but i dont plan on liquifying anything on that account. Right now i'm just dicking around with all the archetype decks for a bit to see what i enjoy playing. It's nice that you can have a competitive deck of any kind after like an hour on a new account if you only focus on a single craft and dust everything else.

Hearthstone is only new player viable if you like arena. 40 gold from your dailies playing garbage decks in ranked is jack shit in terms of building dust, but if you view it as a stepping stone to your next arena run that's more satisfying. Ideally you would reach a plateau in arena skill where you get reasonably consistent payoffs from the mode but haven't gone infinite yet, and extract adequate amounts of dust from that before you get sick of arena and migrate to constructed.
this is what I did for a while until I decided to go balls deep one weekend after my first 12-win and grind arena for hours and hours, pulled boom sylvanas and Harrison during that time which is what got me motivated to start playing serious decks in ranked

Just play Rocket League instead. It's usually like $5 during the big steam sales, you get 100% of the game, it's a lot more fun, and your skill in the game actually matters because there's no actual RNG involved. Looks a lot better, too.

Trust me when I say it's much more enjoyable to watch HS than to play it. Just stick to watching streams and shitposting here, that's probably the most fun you can get out of the game. Only reason I still play it is because I'm entirely f2p because I started in Naxx (where literally all you had to do was dump all of your initial gold into Naxx wings and build undertaker deathrattle decks for literally every class to do dailies), and because it's great to play at work while I'm waiting for parts getting tested.

You want to end up with this setup after he uses his execute(s) + 2 Tournament Medics which died.

Twilight Elder are your biggest early games friends. They can deal with his 3/3 and stay alive, and then you can heal them.
Shadow Word: Pain combined with them allows you to heal them in between so that they stay alive for longer until you can summon Light Well to heal them.

Pro tip, take his hero down to 1 hp as soon as possible and then summon a taunt. That way he won't attack the taunt with his weapon until he uses his draw 3 and gain 6 armor cards.
Bait out his Execute by summoning the 1 drop from priest and giving her extra health so that he can't take them down with his 3/3 charge. He will ALWAYS go for the Cleric instead of face. Always. If he can't kill her with the minion or weapon, he will use spells, including execute.

He allowed for some seriously broken plays in the game with just one tick, which was freaking annoying, but at the same time, I like him.

Maybe move him to the classic set, but change him so that he reduces the cards in your hand at the start of your turn. But since that would be kinda too much of a nerf, the effect will activate after you draw your card, so that the cards is included. Kinda a small compensation since he most likely won't live until the next turn.

Evolve Shaman is such fun deck to play, it's ridiculous. And even though your rely on RNG to some extend, you can play around it to get the most value out of it. Like double evolving 6 mana drops to get an 8 drop. Tirion and Rag are very often drops there.
Or turn 3 with coin getting 2 4 drops with Pantry Spider and Evolution. And since you used pantry spider, you're guaranteed to get 2 minions with better stats, often much better stats. Once I actually got 2 477s from that.

Played almost 40 games and currently at a high win rate. Seems like a consistent deck.

I wasted probably 3 hours yesterday, then i decided to try Druid + savage roar combo and it worked on my 2nd try.

Try to flood your board with cheap minions against the Orc and then you use Soul of the Forest, when all your minions die to the Twisting Nether they will respawn as 7 2/2 Treants and from there you are able to use your savage roar / power of the wild.

Having Poison Seeds is also good to get rid of his 6/6 minions (and he will not trade his 2/2 Treants against yours).

Healing Touch / Moonglade portal are necessary to heal until you draw your combo.

I don't even play druid, this list is lacking a bunch of stuff, so you can obviously improve this list, Like adding a 2nd Living Roots, 2nd Soul of the Forest.

The Loatheb is there because I was testing if I can delay the Twisting Nether for 1 turn after killing the Orc and it worked. So you can use it to buy some time if you are unlucky with the draws and you feel like you are about to lose against the charge orcs and you need to kill the first boss.
