Ok, you played Crucible for a while, you got a Luna with rescue mag and some other shitty perk.
Basically shard on sight: the roll but you're going to keep it because you heard there's a tournament where only Lunas are allowed as a primary.
You make it decently far, until you come across a team with God roll Lunas. Like we're talking Rifled Barrel, Rangefinder, the works.
With the way the current range stat works where "ghost bullets" are a thing, if you and Mr God Roll come into a 1v1 at mid/long range, your babby Luna will have Ghost Bullets (this is undisputed) where as his Luna on steroids with max range will consistently fuck your day up.
That's RNG.
Another example; now lets say You have a God Roll Luna and so does everyone else, but he Lunas have LITC as a perk.
Even if you have aim bot tier accuracy, if your LITC doesn't proc before your opponents you're getting dropped no matter what.
You can't have elements of RNG inside a competitive scene, it goes against what competitive is supposed to be. Competitive is supposed to be based entirely on player skill, not how good the weapon you are using, and most certainly not how lucky you are with RNG.
This game isn't made for competitive.
Trials may be the competitive game mode of destiny, but it's not true competitive. It's babby tier casual competitive.

It entirely depends on your subclass and personal preference, but one thing is certain:
INT is -always- good because it doesn't just reduce the base cooldown, it also means you get more Super energy from kills and Orbs. It also stacks with other abilities.
In crucible focusing more on DIS/STR isn't a bad idea, especially in Trials where INT might not even matter.

Did you watch the video? Most people that are counted as in the game are standing around as if they're afk and tons of people are showing up as invisible character models. This was the worst I've ever seen crucible and it didn't appear to be one person causing the lag unless somebody was DDOSing or something. Also I think I count 6 times that I die in the video but the score screen had me at 20-4 (I don't think I killed 20 people either). Still, I got a party crasher in the reward screen so fuck it.
