I admit I haven't played GE yet, but I'd assume in the same way as the real MH. Position yourself so that your character model can get out of the way and not get hit at all. Shantae comes out in a month or two IIRC. Bloodstained is still god knows when. The demo was pretty fun and the physics are in line with how they should be so I guess we have the speedrunning community to thank for keeping Iga from straying away from the path.
